I would like to recommend a great CL
Warm welcome on arrival, the site is kept immaculate. The toilet block is up to and above club standards, it was two toilets with hand basins and a shower, free washing machine, use of tumble dryer for a fee, washing up sink, the site views over the valley and is near to local village with shops and 2 pubs, access to cycle routes via a steep hill.
You will need leveling blocks on the grass pitches, there are no fixed pitches for grass so free to site how you want, the 2 hard standings are level. The site is in a raised location so susceptible to winds, but is partly sheltered, it's good for seeing stars and sunsets. We stopped for 13 nights, we worth a look.

Fantastic Site. Outstanding Facilities
Recently stayed here with friends. Beautiful, well kept site. Levelling blocks definitely required. I’ve never stayed on a site with such immaculate shower and toilet facilities. Free use of washing machine and dryer available at small cost. Owners were on hand should you have needed them but weren’t invasive. Definitely worth staying here if you’re in the area.

Best CL ever
This wonderful CL with 5/6 piches overlooks the local Dorset countryside. With its slight elevation the views are wonderful and great sunsets are seen. A very clean and tidy sight with everything a top club site offers.
We booked this last minute for 2 nights to visit some grand children who are now adults. We were not disappointed.
Will certainly return and spend a little longer next time.
No faults found.
Gem of a site
We stayed here at the beginning of September and absolutely loved it. It’s spotless clean and to have use of an “ordinary washing machine” is brilliant also a tumble drier for an electric donation.
There’s a dog walk along the front of the site and a bus about a 20 min walk away.
We highly recommend this CL and want to say a big thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely friendly site.
This site is well located for the delightful town of Weymouth and surrounding attractions. It’s impeccably clean with really nice facilities. Great views over rolling hills. Dog friendly with a good walk nearby. The only slight downside was no pub within walking distance. But there’s plenty of great pubs and restaurants in the town which is a short drive away. We found parking at Fort Norte and a short walk into the town best. We’ll definitely go back.
Super little site!
We were walking the South West Coastal Path and found this site, with its proximity to bus routes and other facilities if needed, ideal. Moreover, it is quiet, beautifully maintained with super views, showers and washing machine/tumble dryer facilities. We were warmly welcomed and would definitely rebook if in the area again - thank you for a super stay!

A1* site
Probably the best CL we have ever stayed on in 40 years of caravaning, immaculate toilet block with washing machine and dryer, loverly views from every well mowed pitch and very friendly owner
Lovely & Relaxing
We arrived on the 4th September to this lovely site and we were blessed with great weather . The site has a amazing view and everything was to a high standard . The owner greeted us on arrival and after that we were left to our own devises which we like . Great dog work just off the caravan site so this pleased me to. Cowslip cottage was very central for lots of places to visit and supermarkets shops etc only just a mile or so from the site . We shall definitely return
Thank You
Return visit
We have just returned from a lovely 8 night stay at Cowslip Cottage. Once again we had a very warm welcome from the owners, Adoree and Mike. This was our second visit and we have booked for next year. This is a lovely cl with beautiful views across the countryside. The washroom and laundry facilities are also excellent. There is a local bus approximately 15-20 minutes walk that will take you into Weymouth. There is also another bus via Radipole (maybe 25-30 minutes walk) that will take you to Dorchester and other places. We are in a motorhome so mostly walked into Weymouth as there are three routes you can take and for keen walkers this takes about 40 minutes. We enjoyed the walk via Duck Alley, through Radipole and up onto the main road and down through Lodmoor Park - this takes you to the Bowleaze end of Weymouth Bay and there is a lovely cafe on the beach where you can enjoy a seafood snack. If you go this way you can also find a Lidl, Aldi and Sainsbury`s nearby. There are two pubs within walking distance. We love this site and agree with other reviewers that it is one of the best!
