Could be so much better....
Needed a place to stay (originally for 2 nights), first impressions not that good to be honest.
Welcomed in by the owner who pointed out where to park then left us to it. Wasn't advised where the showers were or any info really. The shower, as already stated, is like a supersize green portaloo and there's only one so not ideal if they were ever busy. We parked in the field facing the hedge as it's quite uneven....to the left of us was what can only be described as a building site. Wouldn't have been so bad if that was fenced off.
All in all, the place was a bit scruffy with dogs running around and dog mess on the grass. OK for one night (thank goodness we didn't pay up front for two) but won't be returning.
