As good as it gets

Our second visit to this lovely CL and 3 years on still blown away by the set up and views again. Val is friendly and very knowledgable without being intrusive. Appleby is a pretty little town with lots of history, independant shops (try the butchers and bakers) and eateries. We even went up High Cup Nick twice and once up to the valley floor. We will most certainly return

EXCELLENT

Lovely sight. We were made to feel very welcome. Everything was explained and shown on our arrival. The views are fantastic. Very peaceful ( Apart from the cows in labour. Wow. Are they noisy. ) But it is a working farm, so these things are to be expected. My wife was shown twin calves that had been born in the night. She came back with a big smile on her face. There is a shed with local tourist information if you require it. I am now going to book again for August.

Peaceful with Stunning View

Satnav does not bring you to site. It brings you to Appleby in Westmorland. From there follow road signs going to Long Martin. Stop and ask where the Bella's Farm is located. Everyone seems to know everyone in this area. Mr and Mrs Bella's are wonderful and extremely friendly. The site has stunning views, organised and well kept. All pitches are hardstanding and fully serviced. Very good value for money. Recommended it to anyone. Will definitely come back.

Ideal

What a lovely site. Beautiful views over the North Pennines towards Dufton. Excellent walks straight out from site over fields. Short walk over field to Brampton with a delightful pub which has good food on certain evenings....brewery tap for its own beer! Very warm and friendly welcome from Val and Andrew and very helpful in setting up on the hardstanding pitch with full water and grey waste drainage. We will return.

What a fantastic find

This was our first stay here and we stopped 200yds from the house to check directions when a very friendly neighbour came out to point us in the right direction. A very good start! What a beautiful site this is with a view to rival anywhere in the UK. Lovely and peaceful. Andrew and Val could not have been more helpful - what a welcoming couple. Spoilt for choice with all the walks around - High Cup Nick is a must. The two kittens were adorable and even our collie seemed to love them. The whole site is immaculate and a pleasure to stay on. We will definitely be back to this one. It is a good place to go star gazing as Saturday night was very clear and there is no light pollution. 10 out of 10.

You simply must visit

We only stayed for one night, we didn't book till midweek and apparently we were very lucky to get in.  So glad we did as its soooo lovely can't wait to go back and stay longer. Everything is spotless and the Ballas' are really friendly.  10/10 well done for having such a fab CL. P.S the 2 kittens will melt your hearts so beware!

The best view you have ever hope for

We had a lovely long weekend here, the welcome and help you get from the moment you arrive is wonderful. The other reviews say it all, it is a great site and one we will return too soon. Thanks

Difficult to beat this CL

We spent 8 days on this CL. in July '16. I will not repeat the previous comments as they are exactly what I would have written. One additional aspect was watching the antics of the calves and suckling cows in the field next door. My husband always nit-picks CL's but as we drove away he said 'That will be difficult to beat'.

Fantastic Site

We have just spent the last week in May at this wonderful CL. Each pitch has its own electric, water and grey waste drain. In a small building there are recycling bins which are emptied daily and an information point. We were very warmly welcomed by Andrew and Val who are very knowledgeable about this lovely area. The view from the site is stunning, over farmland to the Pennines. The site and gardens are kept immaculate by the owners. There are numerous walks for this area all in lovely countryside. The local pub The New Inn and brewery serves great beer the food also looked good. To top off the week the sun shone what more could we ask for.
