Gorgeous site!

This is a lovely, well-kept site surrounded by fields, trees and hills, so fantastic scenery in every direction. The 'wet-room' shower and toilet facilities are good, everything is handily placed for the pitches, and having our own water, hook-up and grey water disposal was just brilliant!! The site is ideally placed for exploring the southern Peak District and Staffordshire, we enjoyed a day on the Churnet Valley Railway, only about six miles away. A fantastic site, will definitely be going there again.

GREAT SITE

We stayed at the site for 3 nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We used the site as a base for going to Alton Towers. Alton Towers is only 6 miles away from the site. The site is modern, well kept and has lovely surroundings. All pitches are serviced having own water tap and waste disposal which is fantastic for the £12 a night they charged. Although the actual site itself is small the pitches are not and you are surrounded by fields and never feel closed in. Great site for walks and will definitely visit again.

We will be back....

We have just spent 9 nights at this fabulous little site and did not want to leave. Set in glorious surroundings, it is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the peace, quiet and beautiful countryside of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The pitches are thoughtfully set out with lovely views all round and each pitch has its own electricity, fresh water supply and grey water disposal. There is a utility area for pot washing, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a wet room with shower and toilet facilities. The site is very well kept, clean and tidy and the owners are relaxed and friendly. My only regret is that we did not find this gem of a site sooner, we will definately be going back.

Well Worth A Visit

5 Star site well located very well maintained 5 star shower and toilets. Level hard standings.Very good dog walks around site.A little road noise but its very minimal and does NOT subtract from a first class site.Very good pub in village walking distance meals excellent.
