DELIGHT in Lincolnhire

Called here intending to stay a night to visit Woodhall Spa and a WW2 airfield.  Stayed for a week! Superb tranquil location looking over to 15C farmhouse and some of David's historic stuff. Cycled in every direction along level and quietest roads where every car and van seemed to give way - much like Holland. Perfect for us old geezers but would be a delight for families or honeymooners! Many many thanks to David and Sarah and very best wishes. .

Lovely Site

We have never visited a C.L. site before, but will definitely revisit this one.  Dave made us really welcome and kept the site in excellent condition with electric hook up, and a spacious toilet, wash basin and electric shower.  Lovely location, with loads of space and beautiful views of the countryside . The vicinity is close to Woodall Spa and Horncastle, which are both a pleasure to visit.  Dave is a very interesting person to chat with, and has lots of amusing tales to relate to us, along with the history of the site.  If you like peace and quiet and lovely scenery and good facilities and a helpful and interesting friendly owners, this is the place for you.

Wonderful place, wonderful people

What a find!! Dropped on this cl by accident and so glad to have done so, lovely place, quiet and scenic, lovely views for miles, well drained field and lots of choice where to pitch, massively wide gateway for ease of entry and exit. Sited just far enough away from the bustle of Woodhall Spa and Horncastle, but only a few minutes drive from either, great choice of shops too. Cl is very well run with owners, David and Sarah willing to help in any way - there really is nothing they wouldn't help you with and they have a wealth of local knowledge, the bathroom facilities are great, clean and spacious. Really would like to keep this little gem to ourselves but these owners deserve to be busy. 5 star welcome and a 5 star stay, we even had fresh eggs from the hens we'd been feeding all week to bring home with us.

Nice site in a lovely area

A lovely field with rolling views over the countryside. Toilet and shower facilities next to the farmhouse. Electric hook ups etc. No hard standing, just grass, so no good for motorvans in the winter unless parking on the drive if it is quiet. Lovely quiet country lanes around for cycling or walking and a cycle way easily accessible to get to Woodhall Spa a couple of miles away and some lovely shops and facilities.

Peace and quiet

If you want peace and quiet this is the site for you. Lovely views from your van and with the added bonus of a shower and hookup what more can you want. The only down side? If you start talking to the owner, David , be prepared for a long chat. He has lots of stories to tell and is a great character and along with his wife Sarah, you will want for nothing here. Plus as an added bonus, there is a great butchers in Woodall Spa with the best pork pies and Lincolnshire sausages. Just ask David for the directions.

Serenity and Tranquility, Picturesque

Highly recommended, its the views, its the peaceful tranquility, its the space, its the all inclusive facilities, its where life chills out and stands still, its what holidays should be made of, its everything and more. Its the family that run the cl. Its perfect in every way.  Its my own fault if I cant  get in because Im letting the cat out of the bag. There is nothing to fault this well maintained family run cl.  A friendly and welcoming greeting from the owners who are always willing to be helpful  with advice on the many tourist attractions to visit in the area.Even fresh eggs available daily.  If only the homely smell of cakes cooking coming from the owners house were available to buy, it would be paradise.  You certainly cannot ask for any more and at a very reasonable price.  Im reluctant to keep singing its praises because I wont be able to easily book in the future but I cant be selfish after finding such a jewel of real Lincolnshire folk in a real Lincolnshire retreat.  I have been caravanning for over 15 years and this certainly tops the list on every aspect.

Peaceful and relaxing CL site

Always a very friendly welcome from the owners Dave and Sarah Benton. Peaceful and relaxing site with very good facilities. Our third visit this year and we can't wait for our next visit to this lovely CL site. Best one that we have been too.

Tranquil spot in reural Lincolnshire

A warm welcome from Mr & Mrs Denton. There are two separate CLs on two opposite sides of the property, both afford great views of the Lincolnshire countryside. The site facilities are basic but more than adequate with fresh eggs available from the farm house. This site is very tranquil and off the beaten track although easy to find once you reach Woodhill Spa. An ideal location to visit historic Woodhill Spa home of the WW2 famous 617 dam buster squadron and the surrounding aviation heritage trail. Lincoln is also just a short drive away. I would use the site again and would recommend this CL if you are looking for a quiet location in rural Lincolnshire .

A little Jewel!

A little gem set in wonderful surroundings. Loved it. One of the chickens even attacked our very old dog! Will definitely return.
