Another visit

Just returned from 7 nights here. Definately our favourite CL. Great walks from site and further afield. Oswestry has plenty of shops and supermarkets, plus a good old fashioned market. In the summer the town park has a brilliant flower display. Thankyou, Sid and Sylvia, Bailey the dog.

Beautiful spot

This site is in a stunning setting with glorious views across the Shropshire plain. It is pretty straightforward to access, and there are great walks around the Old Racecourse and along Offa's Dyke straight from the site. Chris and Sharon are welcoming hosts. The pitches are generous and clearly delineated. And it's very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended

Amazing views!

The photograph for this site doesn't do it justice - there is a complete panoramic view looking over the Shropshire plain which is just incredible. Above the site are the remains of an old Georgian horse race course which you could walk around and still imagine what it must have been like. The site itself is very neat and tidy with all the necessary facilities for a CL. The site owner Sharon was very polite and helpful and guided us to our pitch. Would we return to this site - yes definitely!! Thank you so much! Peter and Julia.

Excellent stay

Arrived on site without booking, Chris very charming and laid back, beautiful views over the vast landscape, the club photograph does not do the site justice, slightly sloping on pitches but an ample supply of wood to aid levelling, not that we bothered in a motorhome for one night. Will certainly return when in the area.

A gem of a site

What a perfect site. We spent 3 nights beginning of June and will definitely be going back. A warm welcome from Chris, who was very friendly and lent us OS maps. The pitch was well maintained - views to die for and out the gate straight onto Oswalds trail, we did half and cut into Oswestry for lunch and back on the trail to return back to the site. I would certainly recommend this site, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet

Great C L

Just returned from this lovely little site, first trip out since last September due to Lockdown. Cannot fault this C L, so peaceful and great for dog walking straight from your caravan door. Added to our " Favourites list". Will return. Thankyou, Sylvia and Sid Davies.

Very Warm Welcome at a Cracking CL

We made a return visit to this cracking CL for a 10 day stay in June/July. Chris and Sharron are wonderful hosts, providing local information and assistance if required. There are dogs walks directly from the site around the Old racecourse and the Offa's Dyke National Trail is also right by the site. The walking in this are is stunning, only a short distance away is the Montgomery Canal and it is only a few miles from the Berwyn range. I also walked around Llangollen on the Llantysilio Mountatins and walked along the Llangollen Canal to visit the stunning Castell Dinas Bran and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The site has everything you need from a CL, easy access, well kept and exceptionally clean. We will definitely be making a return visit! Another Great Stay

We have been to this CL 4 times now & have our next stay booked. It's only an hour from home but while we're there we could be hours away, it's fab! Walks in every direction, beautiful views & lovely hosts.

A Cracking CL

I stayed at Domo CL for a week in July, The arrival was straightforward and I was warmly greeted by Chris who offered advice on pitching and pointed out everything I needed to know. When I asked Chris for advice on local walks he even offered to come and collect me if I wanted to do a linear walk on the Offa's Dyke Trail! During my stay I did three circular walks from the site ranging from 8 to 16 miles and also spent three days walking from nearby Llangollen. The views from the CL are stunning, it is in such a peaceful location and has the added convenience of the Old Oswestry Racecourse across the lane so easy access for dog walks. Chris could not have made my stay more enjoyable and I cannot wait to return again in 2019 to spend longer here and explore the area in more detail. You can see the walks from my stay at this CL on my blog https://twodogsandanawning.co.uk/site/domo-cl/
