Absolutely Fabulous!
As Island residents we are trying out local sites to 'find our feet' as relatively new motorhomers! This lovely site lived up to everything we have discovered we love about it - absolutely stunning scenery, total peace and tranquillity and a beautiful neat and tidy site. The pitches (five in all) are well spaced apart with their own EHU, water and grey waste, set on gravel and edged with neatly mown grass. There is planting around each fenced off pitch (which isn't shown in the photographs) and there is plenty of space between each pitch. The paddock is large and well kept and you can also access the lower field which Richard told us is stockproof and safe to let your dog off the lead. There is no light pollution, nothing nearby that causes annoying noises and it's well off the road so you don't hear traffic. We did a lovely walk up onto the down which wasn't far away. There are waste bins on site for recycling and rubbish disposal; electric is on metre and you can top up if you need to.
We had the most restful two night stay and Richard and Beryl were wonderfully welcoming and helpful hosts. We were very reluctant to leave! We'll definitely return to this site for more rest and relaxation.
