Lovely site spoilt by industrial metal workshop directly next door
This is a nice CL in well kept surroundings. A Friendly lady greeted us on arrival. Unfortunately they had just sprayed sewage on the field behind the campsite, so the smell was terrible. Not a great start, but a part of country life.
Unfortunately once set up where suggested, we were asked to move as apparently there are only 4 hook ups on the grass, so we're asked to move next to the barn.
This area seemed good until the noises begun very early in the morning. I was hoping to hear a dawn chorus but was woken up instead by "Ironman ".
Angle grinding and heavy hammering from 6am onwards, reversing vehicle beeping, then sounds like a digger tracking backwards and forwards.
Such a shame.
