A CRACKING CL.

Had a great 10 days on this very good CL. Hard standing were flat and enormous. Plenty of room for van and awning and car. Tap on pitch and electric within 10m. Clean toilet and waste points. We will be back.

Perfection!

What a find! This CL is one of the best we've stayed on. Jill the owner was so welcoming and it was a delight watching the horses go to and fro from the fields to the stables. The pitches are super large, so you might want to bring extensions to the electricity and water. A bonus was having your own water tap so no trips with the water barrel. Bliss! We loved the fact you could walk the quiet lanes onto the coastal paths, with stunning views looking out to St Michael's Mount and beyond. Wonderful pubs, we were spoilt for choice. I cannot recommend this CL highly enough. The site and its location are really five star. Oh, and if you're a reader, bring some books as there's a book swap area in the barn. Thank you Jill for a wonderful stay. We will be returning! John and Caroline

Super site !

Great little site, well placed for exploring on foot or by car , great take always, beaches, cafes and pubs within walking distance. Great base for exploring St Ives, Marizion, Porthleven, Minack Theatre and many more. Spacious pitches, attentive owners, we arrived later than planned but this wasn’t a problem, Jill was very understanding and accommodating. cheap electricity bill (used our Airfryer) . Quiet and peaceful, will definitely visit again. Thank you Jill for a lovely stay .

Summer holiday

Very easy access from main road , we were a little concerned from previous review about GEEVER plot being too shady but it was perfect we never found it dark at all , the plot was lovely and private and large . Plenty of places to eat within walking distance , the bus stop wasn’t far away and was very cheap mode of transport . Perfect position for all the bottom end of Cornwall . Jill provided lots of information for lovely walks for our dog . Had a lovely 14 nights we enjoyed it so much we have booked for 9 nights next June . Looking forward to going back

A Little Gem

We have just spent a very pleasant 5 nights at this really nice adults only CL. It was very well maintained by the owners and Jill who was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a bonus that the pitch was serviced with fresh water as well as electricity. The toilet was very clean and all the pitches were hard standing with a very fine compacted gravel. The site is very quiet and in a lovely area of Cornwall with close access to gorgeous beaches and coves. The site is also close to a small co-op and pub that served meals, both next to each other. The site is within easy flat walking distance - about 1/2 mile to the pub/co-op. The lovely beach and a super cafe at Perranutheno is about a 30 minute walk away. All in all the classic little gem!

Ideal situation for visiting coast

Lovely spacious pitches, only pitch with shade is Geevor which we had but would rather have sun all day. Next time will request one in full sun. Ideal to visit anywhere down in Cornwall, close to Penzance, st Michael’s mount, Falmouth etc. friendly owners very helpful. Electric separate cost us £23 for 11 nights in June. Will return.

Nice clean site

Nice clean site but bit of pain when awnings can only be put on the hardstanding, owner said we could use their drill. Anyway, location great, with village access but overpriced CL in my humble opinion. £25 for EHU (although usage is charged separately, owner let us off 0.57p) which was nice of her, lovely lady said there was no rush off either. When you pay just £8-15 for CL with and without a WC this is why I have rated lower otherwise no other complaints.

Fabulous site

Had a lovely few days here. The weather was stunning and we enjoyed plenty of walking from the site or catching the bus to local attractions. The site is easily accessible with spacious well laid out pitches with welcoming owners. Would highly recommend.

Lovely peaceful site with easy access to beaches, local attractions and facilities

Lovely well thought out site with very spacious hardstanding pitches. EHU was metered and reasonable and each pitch had their own water supply. The site owners Jill and Ian were very friendly, helpful and had excellent local knowledge. The site was peaceful and well maintained with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and very near to the A394 which allows for easy access to Marazion and St Michael's Mount, Porthleven, Penzance, Mousehole etc and the stunning beaches of Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy. We also took the train from St Erth to St Ives which is a beautiful scenic journey. So if you want a quiet, adults only holiday with easy access to beaches, local attractions and facilities, this is a place to stay.
