Ideal for the Causeway Attractions

We chose this CL for our 3 night stay at the end of February as it was ideally situated for cycling to the Carrick a Rede, the Giant's Causeway, the Dark Hedges, Bushmills and Dunluce Castle, all of which we cycled to on the two full days we stayed there. Jennifer welcomed us on our arrival and directed us to one of the two flatter concrete pitches. The water tap was situated close to our pitch, so filling up was extremely easy. The little toilet block was clean. We never used the shower, choosing to use our own facilities. The pitch fees are now £25 per night, and use of the washing machine is £5. I did some laundry on the final night, and Jennifer very kindly said I could hang it up on the movable washing line. The washing line is wheeled out of the barn in the morning and into the barn at night, for that reason I was told I could keep the laundry on the line when I went to bring it in later that evening. I was very grateful for this. The site itself isn't the prettiest of sites. The hard standings are basically on a cement "forecourt" in front of the bungalow. I believe there are also two grass pitches beyond the concrete area. Just to the side of our pitch a grass strip had been laid, possibly to break up the grey. With the weather conditions the hard standing itself was perfect, especially as it rained constantly over the three nights of our stay. Fortunately we were blessed with lovely weather during the days. The views from the site were just lovely, and we were lucky to see a beautiful rainbow and lovely red skies in the evenings before the rain set in. Jennifer's granddaughters keep chickens, so we bought half a dozen eggs on the morning of our departure. Also on the morning of our departure we noticed one of the motorhome tyres looked flat. Jennifer and her husband came to our assistance when it came to trying to blow it up, but in the end we had to go to a garage in Bushmills. Payment wise, we paid in cash, but we could have paid by bank transfer. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever to visit Northern Ireland in the future, especially as we were given such a lovely and friendly welcome.

Lovely CL with stunning views

Lovely CL with outstanding views over the north coast, Rathlin and even Scotland in the distance. Owner very friendly and welcoming and keeps the CL spotlessly clean. There are two toilet cubicles, one of which has a shower. There is also a small indoor dishwashing area come information room with a washing machine (£3). The only downside is the CL is rather small, especially if you are wanting to put an awning up. That said, we would happily stay here again.

A Peaceful Site on the Causeway Coast

This is a lovely site. In an excellent location. The Causeway Rambler bus service stops just outside the site and runs between Coleraine and Ballycastle. The coastal path is a lovely walk in both directions. It is easy to cycle from the site too. A trip to Rathlin Island is well worth it. Jennifer couldn’t have been more helpful. We had plumbing issues with our van and she really tried to help. We found the card for MBS Motorhomes in Coleraine, in the information rack in the toilet block. They were excellent, sorted the problem in under an hour.

Scenic Farm Site

Good site: we had one of the 2 pitches with grass which made for easier pitching of our awning (other pitches are on concrete) - I'd definately request one of the grass pitches if in a caravan (which the owners seem to be doing anyway). Each site has its own EHU and water supply. Chemical waste is located between two pitches on the concrete with not much distancing from anyone pitched there. Functional I guess but I was happy I wasn't piched next to it:) Toilet block consistes of one toilet and one combined toliet/shower which charges £1 (for 4 mins if I remember correctly) which are clean. Site fees are £16 (for 2 in a caravan) but an additional £6 for EHU or awning (wasnt sure for which and not indicated on site info). Easy access point to Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which are both National Trust so if you're a member well worth going (otherwise £10 to park for non-NT member at Causeway which is free to access if just a pedestrian I believe and £13pp at Carrick-a-Rede): you will need to pre-book to access either of these sites. Would stay again if in the area.

Great site on the Causeway Coast

We spent four nights here so we had time to explore the coast, giving ourselves plenty of time. We had a lovely pitch in the far corner of the farmyard site, on a levellish platform with own water, always a bonus. Appreciated the use of a washing machine and the availability of fresh eggs. The bus stop about 5 mins walk from the site is useful for those who want to leave their vans on site. We were dropped off at the stop for the rope bridge and then walked back to Dunseverick Castle with a short stretch along the quiet road back to the site - be aware of the tide times for this walk as the coast path can be cut off at high tides. Couple of tips - visit the Causeway later in the afternoon, after all the coach parties have departed, as you can practically have it all to yourself. Also Benvarden Gardens was an excellent find - the gardener was quite a character - only £5 (cash). Would return to this site in a heartbeat.

Perfect location.

This is our last night at Feigh Farm and we don't want to go home. We were booked on for five nights over Easter and stayed an extra two nights. Jennifer and Brian are the most amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and really very helpful. Brian took our little granddaughter with him to feed the lambs which she really enjoyed. She also got to feed the hens. The views from this site across Whitepark Bay to Balintoy and beyond to Rathlin Island are truly amazing and you have great access to the Causway Coast. The washing and toilet facilities are spotless. We have already booked another stay in August. Thank you Jennifer and Brian for a fantastic week. Jacqui and Simon Lockhart.

Perfect spot for a few days

We've received many warm welcomes at CL sites over the years but rarely one as warm as that at Feigh Farm. From start to finish communication was efficient and friendly and set the standard high. The site itself is compact but with electric and water on each pitch and level spaces setting up was easy. The views were every bit as fabulous as the photos suggest and even on a dull day we could make out Scotland in the distance. Facilities were slightly tired but clean and adequate. The location is fabulous for visits to local places of interest, we cycled but we did notice a nearby bus stop. This is definitely a site we would visit again.

Wonderful Escape to the Coast

This was our first CL experience having only recently joined the Club. We were met by Jennifer who was very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing pitch with EHU overlooking the sea and Rathlin Island. The site is very near access straight onto the north coast path which meant it was very easy to enjoy a few hours walking before dinner. As well as the scenery we loved watching the comings and goings on the farm. The toilets were spotless and the water and disposal all easily accessible. We will definitely be back!

A great welcome matched by the stunning scenery

Jennifer greeted us very warmly on arrival and showed us to our pitch. We chose hard standing though grass is also available. Easy access to take on water for the Motorhome before parking up. No issues with orientation of the outfit either! Splendid view of the coast and intervening farmland. This is a compact site but by no means cramped and facilities are very close at hand. A purpose built block comprising three separate rooms - washroom for dishes, shower (£1 for 3 minutes) + loo and another loo. Access is best from B146 Dunseverick road, which is also only 2m from Giant's Causeway. A little further takes you to the Smuggler's Inn (not sampled) and then another mile to Bushmills (sampled). Recommend a trip to the distillery and Bushmills Hotel. Convenient for Portrush and Portstewart - both have superb beaches too. If you are into golf then Bushfoot is a charming 9 hole links course from £15 with a well appointed clubhouse serving lunches. Our first trip to Ireland and we are going to be back for sure.
