A lovely site

Although CAMC members we stayed on the main adjacent site as the CL was full, which was just as lovely. We had a very warm welcome from Anne-Marie, who couldn’t have been friendlier. The pitches are big enough to feel you have space around you, but it is also a very quiet site as guests are asked to be quiet after 9pm, which everyone adhered to. There is some light road noise from the adjacent coast road, but it doesn’t start too early or go on through the night and we (both light sleepers) slept very well (ear plugs blocked out the early morning bird noise). As others have mentioned there is no pavement on the very short walk into Weybourne but we didn’t find this a problem as long as you’re careful. There is a safe walk up to the Coast Hopper bus stops, a very short walk from the site, and from which you can travel along the coast in either direction. The local pebble beach is really lovely and has a pay and display car park with toilet on site. We had a lovely 4 night break and we hope to return next year on at least one occasion.

Great stay!

We were slightly concerned before arrival by closeness of the road but we experienced little traffic noise. Warm and friendly welcome. Coast hopper bus was a great bonus. The walk into the village is a bit hair raising as it has no path but that can’t be rectified! The little shop there was ideal for milk, bread etc. Spent a week here and we will return!

Lovely site perfect for military enthusiasts

Only stayed for one night but would happily have stayed longer. We had a warm welcome and everywhere was well prepared and covid secure. The surrounding area had so many places to visit and despite lockdown restrictions we found nice places to eat at. We witnessed two Osprey helicopter planes taking off behind the site which was an unexpected, if noisy, treat!

Lovely site, very tranquil

We stopped for one night at this site. Very welcoming and a good sized, level pitch from where we had a view of the sea from through the hedge. Facilities were clean with sanitisation points around the site. We were given information and a map of the local area pointing out walks and cycle rides. A nice stopover during our trip round Norfolk and we would stay again if in the area.

6th to 12th July just after lockdown!

Having had 4 holidays cancrlled due to covid- I was feeling very tentative about thus break but equally desperate to get away!!!! Communication from Stephdn during lockdown was easy and responded to quickly. I cannit comment on the facilties as these were clised but there was no issue with us popping up a shower tent. The site was very quiet and well maintained. The weather was mixed but wd still got out on walks along the beautiful North Coastal path. Wd took the coast hopper bys to wells, sheringham and cromer and enjoyed what they had to offer. Many thanks and thoroughly recommended

Ideal site for the Norfolk coast.

Just returned from a six night stay at Foxhills on Jay Pitch. Nice site close to Sheringham, we were welcomed by the Owner on arrival who gave us some information that might help us enjoy our stay. The site was clean and tidy with a good hard standing pitch, I had a slight reservation about the other campsite adjacent to the CL but had nothing to worry about and would have happily stayed on there too. The only drawback to the site was our TV signal was poor having to frequently retune we put this down to the pitch being low and in line with a mobile mast ( this meant phone and WiFi were excellent) a bit of a nuisance but we would still return to the site but would ask for a different pitch.

Lovely Stay

We stayed here for two nights at the end of April, and really enjoyed are stay. Very friendly owners and very helpful. Good location for the steam railway station about 1.5miles from the campsite. Local shop which is well stocked and also does teas and coffee. The Ship Pub has some nice ales and loads of different gins and serves food. And if you are interested in tanks there is a great collection right next door. We will definitely be returning.

Nice Easter Break

Stayed here over Easter for 4 nights. Very welcoming, nice hard standing cl. Showers and toilets although old were clean and adequate. Some road noise but didn’t bother us as the cl is set back from the road. The only down side is the lack of proper footpaths which was a bit of a problem for my husband as he uses a mobility scooter. Nice walk through the Muckleburgh heath, quite a long walk down to the pebble beach. If able bodied you can do a circular walk although there are no footpaths and the road from Weybourne village is quite hair raising at times with a few blind bends.

A really pleasant CL site

We stayed for two nights in March 2019. The owner was very welcoming. The site is well maintained, spacious with very good facilities, far better than many CL sites. Plenty of walking close by with good eateries and pubs within easy reach. Well worth a visit

Friendly owners

This is a lovely site, close to weybourne and its shops and pub. The only negative would be the lack of pavement to walk on into the village. It can be quite hair raising walking on the road. There are lots of attractions close by and the coasthopper bus stops outside the site. The toilets and showers are old but clean and more than adequate. The pitches are all grass and some require levelling blocks. We enjoyed our three days here and would recommend it for anyone wanting to explore the local areas.
