Super Site

Having read the other reviews I won't reprise them. We had a great time on a lovely site. It was pretty busy when we were there last week but it was peaceful with the pitches well spaced so I don't think the concerns I read about when it gets busier need worry. The CL was full when we booked so stayed out on the main site on a super level pitch. The owners could not be more helpful or friendly, in a non-intrusive way, if they tried. Will we stay again? Definitely. Would we recommend this site? Absolutely. In fact we are hoping to start the rest of our journey round the north Norfolk coast from here later next month. Thank you Steve and Annemarie we will be visiting Foxhills again...

Good location for exploring north Norfolk

Site generally good. Although protected from the sea side by trees exposure to strong wind is unavoidable. The CL section is only about ½ acre rather than 3 acres as mentioned in site features; this did not make us feel closed in but I could imagine that being right next to a lot of tents in the summer could make it quite noisy. The CL is fenced off from the tent section. There was a nice surprise of internet access for 50p per day, but this is only accessible from the reception area or just outside it. The owner was of great assistance during my friend’s illness.

It is a very good location for seeing north Norfolk, very close to many attractions including the Tank Museum next door, the steam railway at Sheringham and National Trust properties such as Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall. There are some gorgeous sandy beaches around the area which includes Holkham Hall.

If accessing from Cromer direction watch out for the sign for Muckleburgh Tank Museum, Foxhills is off the same entrance, it is like doing a ‘U’ turn, we used the wide entrance to the tank museum to manoeuvre this.

Lovely site in Beautiful Norfolk.

Have used this site on many occasions over the years. Always been happy here, but then again we adore Norfolk. Facilities basic but somehow, they add to the charm of the place. Yes, Foxhills is never far from the top of our list for breaks or longer holidays.

Lovely CL site

After a very warm welcome from the owner, pitched in the hook up corner, with a fleeting glimpse of the sea through the trees. A lovely big field, easily accessable from the main road, with spaces for tents as well. These were positioned around the outside of the field so plenty of room for the children to still ride their bikes and play. Good facilities for a CL, showers, toilets and washing facilities, although very basic. Visited Jubilee week, and site held a celebration bbq, also was my birthday and was presented with a home baked cake! Only down side was having to walk along the busy main road to get to the village or paths for dog walking, a bit scary with 2 dogs and children, but manageable. Would definately visit again.
