Lovely stay...

Booked this CL site for a long week end, we were not disapointed and i must say its the best i have ever stayed on, nice and friendly owners and can't do enough for you, toilets and showers very clean and the site is so quite and relaxing ...we went to the steam train week end and then on to Hokham Hall food festival which was amazing , we will be returning to Foxhills next year for a full week

Excellent CL site

The site has easy acess as is on the A149 from Sherringham less thant a quarter of a mile beyond the village of Weybourne, right nextdoor to the Mucklebrugh Collection which is well signposted. We arrived on the hottest day in June so far this year. Steve the owener was very welcoming and showed us where everything was. the CL area of 5 hard standing pitches is in a separate fenced enclosure at one end of the field. This slopes slightly at one end. There was no availability there during our 3 night stay so we were on a grass pitch in the main field which was just as nice. Alll pithces are very large. We were very near the house and facilities. A little after we had pitched Steve's wife kindly offered us another shadier pitch if we were cooking in the exceptional heat, but we declined. The toilet & shower block is located at the far side of the house. There are ladies & gents toilets. The ladies has two large cubicals with large hand basins and one cubical without basin. The two very large showeres are unisex. All were very clean, of a reasonably up to dte standared with good electric showers. Outside these is an open air dishwashing area with two sinks. The chemical toilet disposal is just around the corner. Inside the receitpion area there are a range of into leaflets and also timetables for the Costal Hopper bus. This runs every half hour between Cromer & King's Lynn and stops a few yards from the site entrance. This is one of the best CLSs we have used and would definitely use again.

A wonderful site.

Stayed here for three nights in early August as a ''shake down'' with a new rig. The welcome was friendly and helpful. Area is not level and some blocks may be needed. So pleased we have this site within easy reach.

Fabulous Site & Lovely Owners

We spent two weeks at this site at the end of July / Beginning of August. Upon arrival, we found the owners (Mr and Mrs Wharton) helpful and friendly. The CL is in a fenced off area surrounded by a small commercial site which is also owned by the Whartons. It is a very quiet site and is well situated for exploring the north Norfolk coast. The coast road can be narrow and busy, but the coasthopper bus stops right outside the site and runs every half hour. This is a very reasonable, convenient way to get around. There are dishwashing facilities, a couple of toilets and two showers on site. Although spotlessly clean, these were dated. However, as we were not expecting these facilities, they proved to be a great added bonus! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great CL

We were concerned about our arrival due to a previous comment re the entrance drive to the site after reassurance from the owners and a careful approach we didn't have a problem,we do tow an 8m twin axle caravan. We stayed on site for 5nights ,it is well kept and very peaceful. The free roaming chickens provided lovely eggs. The walking from the site is superb and our dog thoroughly enjoyed swimming in he river on the way to the pub. It is a great base for visiting many places of interest,we would visit again,Many Thanks.

Really lovely CL

Just spent 3 nights here, loved it! The owners have worked very hard to make this their own, it has an 'old fashioned' feel about it which I loved, the showers and loos were kept immaculate and situated in a quaint corner of the site! Lots of little personal touches that just shows how well cared for this CL is. Bus stop very close, pub about 10-15mins walk (albeit along the main road & no footpath but providing you keep your wits about you it is "do-able") Beach about 20-25mins walk (past the pub!) very handy for Holt, Sheringham & all the lovely old seaside resorts that line this stretch of coast. Local shop supplies most things you would need to throw a meal together, very friendly too & lovely pastries/cakes. The owners have a larger site adjacent that you drive though to the CL but this in no way impacted on the peace and tranquility, and they don't "pack them in" either so retaining that feeling of a small intimate site. Would highly recommend and return.

Very lovely site *****

Me and my husband went here as a last minute decision. This is a very lovely site if you want the peace and quiet away from the main areas but close enough if you want to visit them. There are some lovely walks which are quiet and the scenery very nice for example the local beach was about 5 minute drive away. The beach itself is a pebble beach mainly used for fishing but the walks along the cliff top was lovely. The site owners are very welcoming and very helpful, they were happy to answer any of our questions and kept the site in a lovely condition. The only downside was that where we parked for the CL area was not very flat and needed jacks or chocks or some other aide to level the caravan out but this was a minor point. All facilities were clean and tidy. This is a highly recommended site to visit and stay at.

Very nice site

We've just spent a very enjoyable week at this site. The Whartons are a very welcoming,  friendly and helpful couple.  The site is peaceful and facilities are spotless. Lots of birds to watch in the area and a visit to Langham Glass in Fakenham is a must.  Lookout for the odd Mutjack deer in the field over the road.

Great First Trip

This was our first night away in our motorhome. We received a friendly welcome and the site was lovely. Good walks direct from the site to the sea and inland to the Poppy Line. Coast Hopper bus stops outside. Site is well kept and we will be back again!

Well Run With Good Access to North Norfolk Coast

We stayed for 3 nights in July. Very helpful staff. Made to feel welcome. Facilities were very clean but a bit dated. Members need have no concern about other campers outside the members area as the site is quiet and well run. Great access to the North Norfolk coast using the excellent and frequent Hopper Bus. We had intended to cycle more but the coast road is very busy, narrow & windy and we felt happier on the bus. Enjoyed our stay enormously and will be back to explore some more.
