Quiet, but walking distance to Village. Excellent.

Five designated grass pitches. EHU and grey water drain for each pitch. Several water points. Alongside river, every pitch has a view of river and boats. Three (unisex) toliets, one with shower cubicle. All clean and working, no problem. Walking distance to villages of Lodden and Chedgrave, with pubs, shops, eateries. Met on arrival by friendly owner, who explained location of all the things you need to know about. Plenty of walking and cycling. Excellent.

Delightful well maintained riverside site with easy access to the Southern broads. We were most surprised to see drainage to our pitch a first on a CL. Our only reservation is its riverside location may be unsuitable for non swimming children.

what a gem

We have just spent 6 blissful nights on this lovely site. The owners are very friendly, as were the regulars we met who go to this site as often as they can. The site is ideal for long walks along the river, and watching the boats go by. There are 2 toilets and 1 shower, which were clean and well equipt. Loddon has plenty of pubs, shops, banks ect, everything you could need. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants total relaxation, (if you are lucky enough to be able to get a pitch) we will also be returning.

Peace and quiet and a lovely CL

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2012 for the jubilee celebrations and we couldn't have chosen a better site. The CL is situated to the river on the edge of a pretty village which is close enough to the broads for easy access but far enough away to be quiet. The pitches are all grass and even the one on we pitched (which was the furthest from the river) still has a good view. There are EHU's on each pitch and 2 toilets in separate buildings, one of which also has a shower and wash basin. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the site is very good value. No wonder that it is so hard to find free spaces in their calendar online. We will definitely return.
