Book online only
Booking is online only, and you pick your pitch at the same time. Site is unmanned, but offers EHU & water. Ramps required. Great value, if you have your toilet (and shower). Very quiet, and great views.

A Haven of quiet and tranquillity
Stayed here on the 5th and 6th of June 2023 site is perfect. It has everything you need electric hook up lots of water points across the whole site. Nice and tidy views are amazing already booked for September love it so much. Plus price is really cheap.
Nice CL for stopover
We booked and paid for this site online in advance as the site is unmanned self-service type entry. We simply turned up and chose a pitch. The pitches have clearly all been very recently done up, now level gravel hardstanding. The site has great views but is exposed to wind, the owners have recently planted a new hedgerow around the whole site. Which in time will provide a bit of shelter. EHU and water on the pitches. WC emptying and a wooden box for rubbish at bottom of the site. Great dog walk straight up the farm road. A bit muddy when we were there after a fair bit of rain. At £16 good value and good for an overnight stop from A1.
Over crowded
We stayed here for 4 nights in June. The approach road/ farm track is very poor with large stones and ruts, which meant lurching from one to another.
We were in pitch one at the top end of the site and in our opinion the best pitch. Whilst we were there five other caravans were pitched up with one being pitched on the grass area with a long cable running across the site.
Pitch one had another cable running from the electric bollard, this went behind our caravan, over a fence and was connected to a camper van on land outside the site. 7 vans??
The chemical waste area was filthy, although there was a hose to rinse things down it had been left in the muck and no one seemed willing to get covered trying to use it. We didn’t see the owner at all and I understand that it is an unmanned site. Ok, but perhaps a check round and a clean up wouldn’t go amiss. We’re glad we weren’t pitched beside this area and felt sorry for the person who was.
Good enough site but does need some looking at.
A good site
A short distance from the A1, the final approach road to the site is quite rough.
This site is entirely on a slope and we had to pitch in the one at the bottom facing the bin area with no views. It was cramped and there was no room for an awning or sunshade. We parked the car in front of the pitch. We didn’t stay long so it didn’t matter too much. There are a couple of water taps available. The owners responded promptly to an issue and resolved it effectively.
It’s about 20 minutes to St Abbs and about same to Eyemouth where there are some good restaurants and the sale of fresh fish on the harbour front, such as D.R. Collin Fish.
Well Laid Out Site
This CL has been well laid out with lovely views. New planting will when mature screen the site without detracting from the views. The owner was happy for guests to walk the perimiters of his land but at the time of our visit crops were quite high so we didnt and instead walked our dog along the farm track which went for a long way. When we arrived we had the pick of all but one pitch so we were lucky to choose where we wanted to be. We never met the owner having paid in advance but it would have been nice if he had introduced himself. There were 2 things we felt needed attention: Firstly and most importantly the owner's bungalow was close but not within sight of the campsite so there was a security issue. Also, there were vehicles and tractors using the farm lane which was to be expected but we were bothered by the speed and resultant dust they were creating which was blowing all over the campsite covering the vans and outside.equipment. We would stay here again if it were possible to introduce some element of security.
Great wee find
Lovely site surrounded by countryside with perfect peace and quiet. Pitches are on a bit of a slope so you will need blocks of some kind but there are often some lying around. Would be great for a stop of if going north or south. There are no toilets/showers but water chemical waste and bins of course are all there. All in all great value for money and handy for touring the area.
Excellent CL
Previous reviews still accurate. Quiet with good TV and mobile reception. Found easily. Blocks provided but take a suitable one for under jockey wheel. Stayed 4 nights and would stay again. Good value.

Love this CL!
Basic but fantastic! We stayed here for 4 nights in August and wished it could be more as it was so peaceful (admittedly 2 of the nights we had the whole site to ourselves!). Great field in front of pitches for children to run around on. Well kept, though we never saw the owner, and everything we needed. Sloping (hence the funny photo) but there are levelling blocks should you need them. Our children (7, 5 and 4) enjoyed the museum's in eyemouth, st abbs head walk and coldington beach.
