Great working farm

We like to support working farms and this one was brilliant. Lots of walks for the dogs plus its got lots of wildlife as well as farm animals. They sell bacon, sausages and lamb burgers together with local honey, marmalade and jams. Cakes can also be made to order. Just the sort of site we love. We will definitely be going back!

Relaxing Stay

Thanks for a lovely few days spent at this excellent site with benches on each pitch and toilet and shower nearby. Easy access by by cycle to visit Knepp Rewiding and its associated walks. Great to get back to cook up the lamb burgers for a tasty meal with excellent home made cake and cheese scones. Peaceful and lots of space and walks after supper. Pubs nearby but we never managed to get to them ! Pete n Jean

Relaxing stay in stunning environment

We have just spent a few days in this lovely site. Goffsland Farm is very relaxed and just what was needed to take time out! Only 5 pitches on-site that makes it a chilled stay. It is a working farm so expect some animal noises etc. Lots of local attractions and plenty of places to purchase food and takeaway food just up the road in Southwater. Road into the site is uneven so drive slowly when arriving or leaving. Will certainly be booking another stay soon.

Overall good CL

Easy to book, well located and nice site on a working farm. Pitch size was really generous with wooden picnic table and benches. Flat grass pitch with shade available from a tree. £18 per night (early August) including EHU, showers and toilet which was clean and tidy. Information on local area provided with local farm produce eggs, butter, cheese available to buy. Appreciate that the weather was very hot but the there was the dreadful smell from a stagnant watercourse which would stop us staying there again and which stopped me giving this CL a five rating.

Relaxing break

Just finishing a lovely restful week at this site. Facilities, location and little extras are great. The extras are selling meat, eggs and cakes from a little hut. The site is well kept and enjoyed by us and our 3 dogs. You are left alone (which we like) but help is at hand if required. We booked the large pitch with poor tv reception but another camper said they had issues so maybe worth noting if this is important to you. There is some noise from planes and the cows but added to our break. We will be back, thank you!

Great CL

Really great CL with mostly mixed hardstanding/grass pitches. There's a toilet, shower & washing machine. Plenty of nearby walks along bridal ways from the farm although it would be great if there was a pedestrian gate into the camping field instead of having to clank the main double gate. We couldn't get a Freeview signal on pitch 3 but we were able to get satellite TV. The village of Southwater just over a mile away has shops, supermarket, Post Office and other amenities. Plenty of nearby attractions to visit.

Great cl

Have just returned from 5 nights here. This is a 5star cl site. The site has 4 spacious pitches wth hardstanding or grass. And 1 pitch that' is grass. The owners were welcoming and explained where everything was. All the pitches had a wooden picnic bench. There is a well informed information hut that has local produce that you can buy. Along with homemade cakes. The toilet and shower are kept spotless and are housed in another building . The location is great for the coast and South downs. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Bank Holiday stopover

Stayed at this lovely site for 3 nights over the August BH weekend. We elected to set up on the frankly huge grass pitch (no 5) over the hardstanding pitches - there was so much space between us & the other pitches, it was almost like having the site to ourselves! As other reviewers have mentioned, the only downside of this pitch is the poor tv/radio reception but it's a small price to pay. All facilities were available, with plenty of hand sanitiser available. Lovely display of flowers (and tomato plants) around the service area. Fresh eggs could be purchased from the farmhouse, along with sausages and homemade cakes. Road access was straightforward, with just the final approach up the drive being narrow enough to cross your fingers & hope no-one was coming from the opposite direction. In the current situation, plane noise wasn't an issue and most of the road noise came from the hoards of bikers who tend to head for that part of the country over Bank Holiday weekends. Plenty to see & do in the local area. We saw a lot of footpaths in the immediate vicinity, but with only 2 days we didn't have time to investigate them. Maybe we'll have to go back!
