Gorsgoch farm Coastal haven

Just arrived home having spent 5 days at Gorsgoch farm. It was absolutely beautiful, the grass was well kept and lots of space between pitches. There is no toilet or shower but we have our own facilities on board so that didn't matter and at £16 a night it was well worth paying for the view alone. My only negative is seeing other campers letting their dogs go to the toilet on the campsite ( they did pickup though) instead of walking just up the quiet lane with them. If i had kids it would have been a worry letting them run around. Apart from that i would highly recommend this peaceful CL and the owners were lovely.

Beautiful little gem

This is our first visit to Holyhead, always seemed to head south west England or South/mid wales. What a little Gem, beautiful setting if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxed break. Overlooking the sea and southstack lighthouse, bird watcher/walkers haven. Very clean and well kept site, only 5 pitches with hookups, owners lovely. We will definitely return and look to heading here instead of the crowded south west. Loved every second of our stay here, stunning surroundings

1st CL Site

This was our first visit to a CL site since becoming members. Beautifully located with stunning views and easy access to footpaths and cycling routes. Friendly owners and a lovely spacious site. We will be back!

Get away from it all on this beautiful site

Lovely flat field with generous spacing between pitches. Spectacular views and access to the coast path could not be easier. We loved it.

5 Star Location

Spent 3 nights in our motorhome at Gorsgoch Farm recently. Amazing location with sea views from the pitch. A warm welcome and great facilities. Just a short distance from the coastal path. We look forward to returning soon.

Brilliant location

Spent 6 nights on this CL after 'lock-down' and would loved to have stayed longer. The location is great with super views from caravan and a short walk on to the coast path, RSPB reserve and cliff tops. The CL has nicely spaced pitches on a mowed grass field with individual hook up points and easily accessible water and toilet emptying point. We will definitely return . . . . if we can get booked in!

Super CL

This CL was booked as third choice, we were last minute bookers, and our first two choices were full. So glad they were! Great CL, lovely well mown flat field. Pleasant but not intrusive owners. Everything you could wish for on a CL, everything tidy, and handy. The views and sunsets were to die for, granted we had glorious weather! Great for dogs as just minutes from the coastal path so great walking. So handy for everything Anglesey has to offer. Supermarkets in Holyhead. This CL is so peaceful and in a great location. Sure we will return. There are super holiday cottages, owned by the same owners, just passed the site so anyone wanting family friends to join them may find this useful.

Scenic CL

A well cared for and maintained CL in an extremely scenic location overlooking the Irish Sea and the South Stack lighthouse. The CL was easy to find being an easy drive from Holyhead. We were given a friendly welcome by the owners Tom and Stacy on arrival. The gravel drive into the field has a wide easily accessible entrance gate. The field is firm and level with well cut grass. Pitches are well spaced out with a separate hook up point for each pitch. Water, CEP and rubbish facilities are all good. Each pitch has open views. The RSPB visitor centre can be seen from the site and is about a 30min walk away. The views from the cliffs of nesting seabirds are well worth the walk. A few minutes walk along the lane from the site is The Range, another part of the RSPB reserve. This part of Anglesey is lovely, with lots of interesting and pretty places to visit by car or on foot. As reported by others mobile phone coverage on site is poor, we had no signal with both 3 mobile and O2, but this will not put us off visiting again. We definitely want to return for another visit to Gorsgoch Farm.

Utterly lovely

This has to be the best CL we have stayed in for years. Great facilities and level easy access pitches from which everyone has stunning views. Each night we were able to watch the sun sink into the sea just off the edge from the South Stack Lighthouse. Fantastic walks in the area and within 10 minutes drive to the excellent White Eagle pub. The whole of Anglesey was a bit of a revelation and was even nicer than the rest of North Wales. The only fault for us internet junkies is that our EE comms were poor so perhaps the owners would consider introducing WiFi.
