nice site

A very nice site lovely and flat with well cut and collected grass. The walk around the Christmas trees was pleasant and peaceful, lots of rabbits and birds to see. Felix was very helpful and friendly making us feel at home and welcome. Water and electric directly to the caravan was a real bonus . The only downside was the car park (where there was not just cars but vans and machinery) right next to the caravan site. A screen of trees would have solved some of the problem and maybe dulled the noise early in a morning when the vehicles were taken. This would not put us off going again but would ensure we were at the far end of the field away from the car park. There are plenty of places of interest nearby and the information pack given on arrival gave some nice walks.

Beautiful small CL.

Stayed here just before Easter and were made to feel so welcome by Felix. Arrived in high winds but settled in quite quickly. Felix was on hand to help. Lovely flat lawned area to pitch on, with electric and water on every pitch. Lovely Christmas tree enclosures to walk our dogs around which were totally secure. Very peaceful and quiet. Have already booked for next year.

Fabulous stay !

Lovely week here before Easter. Everyone so welcoming. Amazing site beautifully kept with lovely walks around various Christmas tree enclosures for the dogs. With 5 of us with a unit each and 18 dogs between us we filled the site and all enjoyed it so much have booked the site again for next year . Highly recommended Thank you for having us!

Good location and good dog walk

The location of this site is good for visiting the area and access relatively easy , if you follow the directions. Felix was very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay . The services to each pitch is great and everything was very clean and tidy . The woodland area is good for dog walking from site and as we stayed in a very hot week the shaded area with tables & chairs provided a lovely cool place for lunch or relaxing with a book. Our only disappointment was that despite the size of the location the pitches are just in a line with no shade , definition or features . As we were in the middle of the row we did feel cramped and could overhear conversations from adjoining pitches etc. and there was some business noise . It could be a fabulous location and has many positives but based on the current layout and lack of peace or privacy its not one that meets our 'wish list' for future visits

Peaceful and relaxing

We have just returned home after a 7 day stay at this CL, it was all we asked for and more, peaceful and relaxing with good access plenty of room between pitches which are fully serviced with water and electric and grey water, a minor inconvenience was the walk to the chemical waste point but it was all level ground so not an issue. Felix was very helpful and was able to give us info for the area. This is a working christmas tree farm so expect some early morning movement but to be honest there was no heavy tractors or equipment noise during our stay. This site is only 10 mins from Hereford so very convenient for shops etc, there are lots of good pubs/ restaurants within a short drive too. The lane to the site is narrow single lane traffic and is best approached from the car dealership end as stated on the website, there was very little traffic on the lane during our stay. There is laser clay pigeon shooting provided if you book which is run by Felix and is good fun for a bit of friendly competition. Good site highly recommend.

Our first trip to a CL and we loved it

This was our first visit to a CL and we didn't really know what to expect. But is was wonderful! It's a beautifully kept site, with 5 well-spaced pitches, each with its own electric hook up and water supply. Through a gate from the site, you can wander around a small, enclosed woodland and christmas tree farm. It was absolutely ideal for our dog, who prefers walks without too many other people or dogs. The welcome from Felix was lovely - he's a really nice chap! And the welcome pack had lots of information about the nearby area. We were only staying one night, so didn't get to explore, but I'm certain we'll be back.

Cracking Little CL

Spent a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend here had glorious weather all weekend. Sites been full since Saturday but all spaced out overlooking the clay pigeon shooting. Dog has loved walking round the dog walk running off his lead. We’ll definitely be back. Felix offers a warm welcome and is on hand if there are any problems! 3 out of the 5 vans from Wales on the CL! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 We will be back again! Kids loved running about and loved talk to everybody. Be sure to follow the directions on Website as need to approach Grafton Lane from Car Dealership end.

Peaceful and well maintained

Enjoyed a 2 night stay - even though we've had the wettest May on record our pitch had matting underneath the grass which stopped us getting stuck in our small motor home. Our own water supply was nice and convenient. Very quiet apart from the birds singing!! {lovely to hear] Heard a Cuckoo, also watched a woodpecker and rabbits feeding. TV reception was brilliant for us - we have a small portable indoor aerial and managed to get a good choice if channels without hubby having to sit there holding the wire! Views over the fields one way, the other a crop of very pretty Christmas trees. Felix is a lovely chap and extremely helpful, showing us to our pitch. I was surprised how close to the town we were, stopping at an Asda - right by the river - on the way into town. As we are not very technically minded the first 2 car parks were pay by phone, which we haven't a clue how to do. We ended up by a beautiful park by the river - think it's called Bishops Meadow, lovely area with walks and a playground, well worth a visit. All in all a brilliant weekend and thanks to Felix for his hospitality.

Fab site, easy access to Hereford

We stayed here just as the site had opened. Excellent welcome pack and a warm welcome from Felix. Site is immaculate, EHUs at each pitch as well as individual water taps. Site is surrounded by Christmas Trees and fruit trees with some lovely enclosed dog walking. Just up the road is a cycle/walking track which takes you into Hereford. Great for a pitstop near Hereford away from the hustle and bustle.

Superb !

Almost a single track access road but with several passing places before the site & easy to get there as very little used. Excellent welcome on arrival from the Manager Felix Lerego. Immaculate pitches including EHU & own Drinking Water Tap alongside each pitch ! Superb walks amongst the 16 acres of Xmas & Fruit Trees for yourselves & the Dogs ( If you have them ! ) Peace & quiet abound. Plenty of wildlife too. Included in the site bumpf are 3 Hereford establishments that will deliver to the Farm gate for you. We have tried both Chinese Takeaways & found 'Summer Palace' to be a superb choice. Good portions, well cooked very tasty Chinese food, if you like Chinese Food...try it, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly return. Thank you Felix Lerego & Grafton CL
