A really peaceful site

By & large the only "noise" here was that of the birds. It is very peaceful. When booking, as a motorhomer, we were advised to come with a full tank because sometimes there are issues filling up, also advised about where to pitch and that if we wanted to pitch well down into the field then we might need two electric cables. There are no marked pitches, the hardstanding is an area of concrete as you enter - easy room for three units. We chose this rather than grass because it had been raining so much, but we were able to park alongside the grass on one side, so could sit out on it. Grass is all well mown. The two water taps are close together & on grass; if caravans are parked in front not possible for m/home to drive up to. However, the track to the adjoining small storage site enabled us to get close enough with our hose & extension hose to fill up part way through our stay. So together with a few cans of water, no problem. A pity there is no rubbish recycling - but you must bag it properly before putting into the large bins. There is a Camping Club site of some sort in a nearby field which was quite busy, quite a lot of units. I would expect at weekends & school holidays that might generate a bit of noise, but this CL, being adults only (there is a pond) and with plenty of space is just really relaxing. Havent seen so many rabbits in ages! Flamborough Head, Dane's Dyke, Bempton Cliffs, Bridlington all worth a visit. There is a co-op and other shops in the village.
