Perfect location for visiting Shugborough Hall and Cannock Chase.  Walk down the drive, cross over road, walk through beautiful beech wood, straight into Shugborough estate, where you can visit gardens, walk along river and canal - all free!  To access Cannock, ask farmer for code for gate and it takes you straight onto the bridle way, 5 minute walk from Stepping Stones.  Our dog and teenagers loved it - freedom.  Also appreciated super smooth drive for skateboarding! Camping field had views of sheep and horses grazing, woods, good aspect for sunsets, grass was rather long, and have to take home own rubbish, but can cope with that for £7 per night.
