A charming site!

Well what can I say! We wanted a few days away with peace and quiet but somewhere for the boys to run around and good value for money! We found everything we wanted for our mini break here at Heatherbield. We were met by the owners father who gave us the warmest welcome and brought over tea and coffee and juice and biscuits for the boys. He then gave the boys some eggs straight from the chickens for breakfast a few days later! The facilities were perfect, and kept spotless. it was so nice not to have to queue for the shower in the mornings unlike at the big sites. With only 5 caravans at anyone time there was plenty of space to spread out!! We shall definitely be returning more often, hopefully become regulars! Thank you so much. :)

Best CL visited to date

What a welcome this super site gives, tea and cakes on arrival and cupcakes 2 days later ,absolutely wonderful . Shower 5 star with a second toilet for when shower room in use,. Great access to site and plenty of room. Good information available and well organised recycling, in fact everything one could wish for. Looking forward to many more visits.

what a little gem

We arrived on this site to a lovely warm welcome from the owners father. The owners were out for the day. The lovely gentleman brought out tea and biscuits and juice for the children. The site was lovely and clean the toilets were always spotless. When the owners returned from their day trip, they went around all the caravans delivering cakes to everyone. The owners children then played with my children. we will be back it was really the best cl that I have stayed on. thank you

Superb in every way.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights for the Ely Folk Festival and we have to say that everything from the coffee and cakes on arrival to the standard and overall welcome this is a fantastic CL and worthy of a top rating. Convenient for Ely which is about a 40 minute walk and I am sure that we will return to take in the rest of what the area has to offer. Overall a top notch site.

Bench mark for all C.L.s' to achieve

Andy and Sylvia were the perfect CL hosts: lovely cup of tea and cup cakes on arrival, spotless facilities and a level pitch. What's not to like? Well worth the trip from Devon (booked in for 3 nights in June 2013 stayed for a week) Highly recommended and have done so to other club members

CL of excellence

Everything about this site and the owners is wonderful. The owners are so friendly and the greeting when we arrived was like one given to royalty. The site is well organised and tidy. The toilet and showers were clean and the site level with plenty of space between caravans. Ely itself has much to offer and the Cathederal is magnificent. There are no shortage of things to do and places to visit but best of all when you return to your caravan you can just relax.

Great CL

One of the most pleasant CL’s I have been to for a long time, very friendly owners who offered a cup of tea and cakes while we were setting up our caravan on arrival and very happy to help if you need assistance. Site was very well kept and very well laid out, toilet and shower facilities on site. Less than 2 mile walk into Ely and pleasant country walks and nature reserve very close to site. The owners lent us a guide book of local walks ranging from 4 to 6 miles during our stay so we could explore the area. And a bus stop directly outside site to Ely. Very much worth a visit and setting the standards for other CL’s to follow.

Very enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely site on the edge of the village, in easy walking distance of a local mini-store. We were given a very friendly welcome with drinks and cakes, which was an unexpected nice touch. The facilities are good, very clean and we loved the king-sized shower!
