Lovely Site

Just returned from this very lovely flat site after a 7 night stay. Water on pitch, electric hook up 16A , grey water and chemical disposal very good, rubbish and recycling excellent . Great value for money. We had lots of rain and the site remained well drained at all times, Two pubs in village one doing Thai food the other excellent British pub food, there is also large convenience store and a fish shop/takeaway . Tesco ,Sainsburys and Aldi in Ely just 10 mins away.

A perfect spot

A return trip for us to this well kept and well located CL. The Covid controls were reassuring, we used the facilities sparingly and carefully, as clearly others did too. Peaceful and well maintained, this site really is a gem in a lovely location. An easy cycle into Ely, if that's your thing, everything you need is close by and the lunch deal at the Ely Turkish Restaurant remains one of the highlights of our trip. We extended our stay to a week this time and could easily have stayed longer, it's such an easy, relaxing, place to be. See you next year!

Fabulous

What an absolute gem of a find! We had 6 lovely nights at this site in early October and it was superb. Very quiet, choose your own pitch and pitch in whichever way you wanted to. Beautifully clean facilities, very Covid aware and safe with hand santisier at the gate and at the facilities/info room. NHS Check in code displayed. Andy & Sylvia were very helpful, friendly and welcomed us warmly onto the site. Any questions prior to our arrival were answered in a very prompt and informative way. We enjoyed a number of walks directly from the site, including into Ely and a visit to the Cathedral. Fully recommend you visit if you haven't already - but don't tell too many people!

What a find!

Lovely site - great access- no problem finding or approaching the site (8ft wide van). Warm welcome and introduction to facilities. Great loo and Shower - although we used own facilities (Cov19). Could spend a week here easily- and Ely Cathedral of course - one of the 7 wonders of the Medieval world - amazing! Thanks for our lovely stay.

Top Notch

This site is pristine with frequently cut grass, an immaculate toilet and shower (we didn’t use as a Covid precaution). The owners, Andy and Sylviaare very friendly, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. There are plenty of water taps and lots of space. The WiFi is good and very reasonably priced, tv reception reasonably good and access and security is good. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Heatherbield.

A lovely stay

Our first time here & it won’t be our last. A lovely clean, well maintained site with more than ample space and excellent amenities. The toilet/shower block was immaculate and clean. The waste disposal and bin area was well maintained and clean. The views are spectacular and the owners are friendly and helpful. There’s lots to see and do in the area, with a lovely pub nearby, cinema & restaurants. Can’t wait for our next visit 😊

Fantastic Christmas Holiday

We chose this site as you can access Ely easily, the bus stop is near the entrance to the site, the path runs all the way into town, we cycled and used the underpass to avoid the A10. Ely is lovely and the site is very well kept, clean tidy and very organised with good facilities especially for a small CL site. Andy & Sylvia made us welcome without invading our privacy and look forward to returning in the warmer weather. (Thanks for Christmas cake and Ginger bread)

TIME FOR TEA!

After a long drive we were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, spot on before the 'divorce in a bag' came out. Lovely, clean, spacious and quiet site. Ideal for exploring Ely and the surrounding countryside. Nice walk with the dog into the village and can recommend 'The Anchor' for beer and food. We will be back (already booked).

A great CL!

We are not really fans of CLs, generally preferring to stay on main Club sites. However, we decided to give Heatherbield a try and we are glad we did. After a 5-hour journey, we were given a warm welcome and were offered cups of tea and cupcakes. The site itself is spacious and peaceful and has a large shower with toilet and basin plus another separate toilet. The Wifi is very good and only costs 30p a night (Caravan Club sites take note!) We found lots to do in the surrounding area and had a lovely week!

Best CL

We visited this site during the 6-9 Jun 19 and was extremely pleased with the service we received from the owners, Mr & Mrs Meeks. We were welcomed with a cup of tea and cupcake! The CL site was well kept and the toilet/shower facility was very clean. We would definitely return to this site in the future. Thank you.
