Appleologies for the title.

Just had a fantastic 4 nights at the orchard. What a beautiful place. We had a wonderful welcome from Jane and Phil on what was supposed to be the hottest day of the year. It was warm but the last night was 9 degrees, what a change. It didn't dampen our spirits though. An easy 2.5 mile walk to Chester. A bit of road noise but we have ear plugs and believe me, the rain drowned out the sound of the road on Monday night. Sorry we missed you when we left and it's worth visiting in September, the apples were literally falling off the trees.

Peaceful & Relaxing Site

Stayed at the end of June only for one night while travelling through the area. But will definitely go again. Great site, beautiful surroundings our dogs enjoyed quietly watching the bunnies in the adjoining field for hours, while we relaxed in the sunshine with them.xx Lovely friendly hosts Phil & Jane very welcoming. We found a good footpath /cycle path(dissused railway) that can take you into Chester. Didn't have time to do it so will need to return. The site has the added benefit of WC. Being near the A55 is not a problem for noise, still peaceful. Hope to see you again. x

A Club CL for the Discerning Motorhomer

Heathfield is a great CL level hardstanding & grass pitches, fresh water fill & a toilet, what else do you need!. The owners Phil & Jane do everything to make your stay enjoyable, there is lots do do in close proximity, Chester by bus or cycle (There are a number of cycle Routes) lovely town with lots to see & do, Blue Planet Aquarium, we cycled took us 30mins or just sit & chill on site. We booked for 2 nights & ended up staying so if you plan to visit the area I highly recommend this CL.

Lovely Site and location, such a shame it changed to Adults Only.

Me my wife and Son stayed here quite a while back. The site is easy access and great for cycling in to Chester. There is some noise from the A55 but not enough to bother us. I would love to go back but sadly it appears they have made it adults only. Hopefully this is something they will change as the site has ample of space for both children to play and adults to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Brilliant site, low cost and perfect for easy access to Chester

Visited in last few days with our 2 dogs and 1 hour walk down cycle way to the centre of Chester. Welcoming owners, perfect simple site at low price. Close to Chester bypass so some road noise but gave no concern. Will be returning.

Lovely, well cared for site!

WE have just spent 4 nights on the this absolutely great site. We would have extended our stay but it was in the middle of the heatwave and we had to return home as so hot and needed to check on home-life.The site is well looked after and very spacious with 5 hard standings if you require this facility, but plenty of grass area if you do not need hard-standing. Phil & Jane are very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. We didn't visit many of the attractions around because of the heat but why travel when everything was so peaceful on site. A great place for plenty of R & R. A site to really recommend and and for £10 what more could you ask. A lovely site. peace, tranquility, plenty of space, loo on site and generally a pleasant stay. We will return!! Thankyou Phil & Jane.

Perfect for a post ferry stop

What a lovely site! We chose Heathfield as we were arriving off the day ferry from Belfast and wanted a site close to Chester to meet up with relatives for the evening. We were there in half an hour and were very impressed - even a herb garden to select from and honey on sale! It was only a flying visit for us, as we were travelling home the next day, but for £10 you will be more than delighted. Would definitely book again.

We have just stayed 4 nights at this beautiful site. We are pleased to reiterate the previous comments about the hosts Phil and Jane. Easy access to site and to Chester. We will be back.

Relaxing Bank Holiday weekend

This was our first time using a CL without EHU and never even noticed we didn't have 240v. Phil and Jane are perfect hosts with all the local knowledge you would need. The site is peaceful with only a small amount of road noise from the nearby dual carriageway but this didn't disturb us. Elsan point, fresh water and a toilet for £10 per night is a bargain. A couple of minutes walk to the cycle path we walked into Chester in approximately 1hr, plenty of local walks and pubs for a well earned drink. We will definitely stay on this great CL again.

Weekend Away

Set in an orchard, quiet and relaxing, easy access, level hardstanding pitches, grass pitches, drinking water point, waste water disposal, elsan point, recycling bins, wc. We took our bikes and cycled into Chester and then onto one of the many surrounding cycle routes. As other reviews great for walks, cycling ,shopping, local pubs etc...Phil and Jane have all the local knowledge to point you in the right direction. All of our hobbies and interests in one location, we will be staying again.
