Excellent CL

We stayed in our motorhome for 3 nights at the end of June. As others have said, we had the warmest of welcomes from Nessie armed with a huge Welcome Pack and wifi code, just lovely. Sadly we had the one totally wet day of our month long trip here, but perhaps it was good to have a rest day. The next day we caught the bus to Dumfries and enjoyed exploring the Robert Burns trail. Would definitely like to come again and explore further, it is a beautiful area. Thanks!

BEAUTIFUL NESSIE AND GRANNY JESSY.

We have been caravanners since 1980, but never have we received such a warm welcome as we did from Nessie. We can only reiterate what previous reviewers have said. The site is quiet and secluded. Highly recommended. We spent a very peaceful 11 nights at the end of June. PS: Granny Jessy is one of Nessie's pet sheep, as opposed to the commercial flock.

Lovely Site

Lovely well kept site and welcome from the owners, they genuinely care that you enjoy their site. Good views shame pub in the village closed. Easy to get to the Solent Firth, Steamboat Inn good for food. Fabulous beach at Southerness the dogs loved it. Super coastal walk from Sandy Hills to Rockcliffe (5 miles we got the bus back!) Beautiful walk from Rockcliffe to Kippford for dinner at the Anchor hotel

Perfect CL!

This is such a lovely CL - The owner, Nessie greets you on arrival with a warm welcome and a huge Information Pack full of local tourist information and the all important Wi Fi login details.(Super fast Wi Fi - which puts many Club sites to shame!) The CL is just a few miles drive from Dumfries, lovely well drained open site on a very gentle slope with just a few sheep in the adjacent fields. Come here and enjoy the tranquillity, peace and quiet! I will definitely re visit.

What a find!

We found this site as a stopover on our way south, but it is an absolute gem. If we hadn't already found our next stop we would have seen if we could stay longer... Electric, Wifi, views and great hosts. You need levelling blocks, but... This is one we'll return to...

Excellent CL

We spent two separate nights here on route to the highlands. The site is very peaceful with lovely views . Nessie and her husband are the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome and providing an outstanding welcome pack. An added bonus was the WiFi, the signal was really strong, probably better than we have a home! Emptying the chemical toilet is never the nicest of jobs but it was made easier here by a spotlessly clean toilet/tank to use. The best I have ever used! We will certainly stay here again, hopefully for longer next time so that we can explore the local area and will recommend this site to our fellow MV owners.

Just perfect

We have just returned form a weekend at this beautiful little spot where the owner made us very welcome and gave a very informative welcome pack The site is so clean and tidy and away from all noise. Shops are close by so all in all a great little gem! We will be retuning again very soon Highly recommended for a peaceful and friendly stay

three days with the lambs

Just passed three lovely days on a working farm. Nessie the owner gave us a very large collection of local information and attractions, really appreciated. Overall a lovely CL, peaceful with lots of new born lambs. The views over Dumfries and surrounding vistas were lovely and the glorious sunsets set them off. The lack of traffic noise was amazing, coupled with newly mown lawn really finished off the site for me. I would recommend this site to other members.

RELAXING WEEKEND

Hemplands Farm CL is just over 20 miles from home. We discovered this during the Lockdown for Covid 19 as we started using local CLs to get away locally for a few days. Well kept grass site with beautiful views of local hills and Dumfries. Excellent value and fee includes Wi-Fi. You will get a lovely welcome from Nessie, who will hand you a comprehensive information pack on arrival.

Wonderful site with warm welcome.

This site is close to Dumfries and perfect for exploring this part of Dumfries and Galloway. Quiet and well kept with the best welcome pack I have ever seen, delivered with a welcome to match. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful site.
