A piece of heaven!

Spent five nights on this beautiful, peaceful site. Lyn, the owner, is just one of the loveliest people you could meet. She was so helpful and laid back! Loads of space to park where you like, on grass or hard standing. Perfect base for visiting nearby towns etc., Brilliant for cycling and walking with stunning scenery. Can't wait to return!

First outing, beautiful location

This was our first trip out with the van so wanted to be relatively local to home. Easy to find and access site. Follow the instructions/directions given. Although there is a quicker route from Upton, which we found in the evening, do not be tempted to try to enter with the van - there's some sharp bends and a tiny little bridge on a bend which is just enough for a car and not very good views of oncoming traffic so don't be tempted. Well set up and spacious pitches. Option to pitch on hard standing or the grass field. Given it was end of March/early April we went for the hard standing which was wise as the ground was still a bit soft. For our first site we were really pleased with our choice, clean toilet facilities. Even items which you could "borrow" if you'd forgotten something. Mrs Herbert very welcoming and chatty. Great for dogs unless they have a big aversion to ponies (2) which are in a separate paddock but close to the dog walking field which was great but I personally wouldn't have let him off lead as he could have got through the fences Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills in the backdrop. A bit of road noise, it's obviously used as a short cut around the main part of Upton at the beginning and end of day but other than that you can't grumble at the tractor noises and horses walking by so it certainly didn't bother us. We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return. If you want relative peace and quiet, a quaint town to visit, walking over the hills or to just sit and chill this is a great site.

Excellent CL

We have stayed here many times as we have family in Upton. It is quiet, clean, spacious and very good for dogs with footpaths nearby for off lead walking. Lynne is very helpful and accommodating, we will return.

Great CL

We stopped here overnight on our way down south, it was easy to find & access was good. The owner was very friendly & helpful, we enjoyed meeting her little pony 'Dolly'. We had the pitch close to the road which did have some road noise but it was not obtrusive. The pitch was surrounded by a large grassed area which was great for sitting out with the dogs. On site toilet facilities are basic but clean, no problems. For £12 per night inc EHU this has got to be worth a visit & we would return happily if we were in the area again.

Spacious CL

This is a large spacious CL.  The hard standings are well laid out.  The WC is clean. There is some road noise but not obtrusive.  There are lots of interesting places, including the glorious Malvern Hills nearby.  Well worth a visit.

We'll be back

Very nice CL with a choice of hardstanding or grass and plenty of room. Access was very easy and even though I'm a relative novice at towing I had no problems at all coming through Upton. For those using Streetview to check out the entrance then the hedge has grown up a bit and I was onto the entrance sooner than I expected. The other change since Streetview is that the gate is now much further back and so plenty of room to get in off the road. The combination lock on the gate increases the security but might irritate some. The owners are great and I can't wait to return.

Delightful!

This was our first visit to a CL site, and it will definitely not be our last. What a fantastic place with no horrible children, no real noise unless you count the squirrel chucking acorns out of the tree onto the van roof. Lovely owners, all *four* of the other people we met on the site were great. Can't wait to return - but don't tell anyone else about it!
