We stayed 3 nights here this week, and were delighted with both the site and its position. It has only been open a couple of weeks and the facilities are excellent, with level pitches, each of which is immaculately mown and marked out. There is some road noise, but not intrusive, and at night there is really no disturbance. The site is very well-placed for both Ormskirk and Southport, both of which are worth visiting. Approaching from Ormskirk the entrance is easy, but from the Southport direction, it is a tight turn, and needs care. Once through the gate, the site is very spacious, and feels more like 3/4 acre. Gill is always available if needed, and we can recommend this CL to others.
