wonderful site in fantastic location

We are fond of this area and decided to try this adult only site after reading previous reviews. Early booking was required and when we arrived I could see why. Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It became clear during our stay that many people on site were returners and I fully appreciate why. The site was well maintained and pitches spacious. All had their own electric, water and waste. Electricity was by card meter, which I like as we are not heavy users, as a result we had a rebate on leaving. John an Kim were lovely hosts and always had time to chat if you wanted. They were also knowledgeable on the area and gave great advice on places to walk and visit. Their suggestion of having a meal at The Seabirds in Flamborough was certainly a good one. Food superb and you can easily walk there from site in around 10 minutes. Many thanks John and Kim we will be back again in the future.

What a Find

John & Kim made us very welcome and what a beautifully kept site this is. Ideally situated for the dog friendly local beach at Danes Dyke. NYMR Heritage Railway is not too far for a nostalgic trip to Goathland (Heartbeat Country) or Whitby. Flamborough Head where you can watch Seals and the birdlife. We have just spent our 2 week summer holiday here and it was just perfect. Quiet & peaceful, good dog walks off site, very secure, most of the other people staying on site were returning campers. Very busy site due to it's popularity.

Outstanding site set near so many breathtaking walks.

What a wonderful friendly site this is , John and Kim made us so welcome and they should be so proud of what they have achieved. We were lucky enough to have our stay extended as weather was outstanding and we found the local walks breathtaking, our little dog called Molly absolutely loved it especially playing with Spud! The village is a short walk away with a large Co-op and a couple of nice pubs. Bus stops are practically on your doorstop what more could you wish for. Shower and toilet clean and adequate as expected. We will certainly return to this lovely site.

Loved it

A wonderful, warm welcome from hosts John and Kim. We felt really comfortable and safe in the fully enclosed site. Flamborough is a lovely little village with lots of excellent pubs and local shops. There's even a Co-op if you need a supermarket or a cash machine. Although most shops and pubs take card many do not !! We enjoyed a day at Danes Dyke, just a short walk from the site, and then continued on to the beach. After a short break we headed up to the cliff top walk heading for the Lifeboat Station. Lots of wildlife to look out for on this spectacular walk. Beware, VERY steep access from the beach to the cliff top. North Landing was well worth the walk with lots of Puffins and Razor Bills to keep us entertained. Boat trips are a feature as well with a half hour trip to Smugglers Cave and the bird sanctuary for eight pounds

A great little site

An immaculately maintained site with generous sized pitches. Fully serviced which is a real treat. Choice of drains on the pitch so you can position yourself anywhere. Hedges all around the site shelter you from the sea breeze & provide habitat for many species of bird. Toilet & shower available if you wish for an extra £2 per day, the facilities are kept clean & the water in the shower is hot & plentiful. Well situated for all of Flamborough village’s pubs, co op, butchers, veg shop & seafood selling garages! It’s just 3/4 mile from the site to the village. Excellent cycling locally, Yorkshire Wolds Way & other National Cycle Routes so well worth bringing your bikes. John & Kim are perfect hosts, happy to help but understanding of privacy & even added to their crab order for us on the Friday, so kind & such a treat. A well kept & convenient site for Flamborough.

Want to keep this a secret

We have just come back from four days spent on this lovely site. Serviced pitches and a toilet and shower. Walks through the nature reserve just across the road and an easy walk into Flamborough village. But, the best bit is the wonderful welcome from Kim and John and the way you are looked after so well the whole stay. They are not intrusive but always around to help when needed. They really make your stay just so much better.

Excellent CL and well maintained site

Great welcome from owner and following an initial day of heavy rain provided tow assistance in moving both car and caravan from subsequent spongy ground, Site was kept secure with locked gate and high hedges to separate CL from adjacent CS site, Each pitch has water supply and waste water drain and John will provide additional pipes/fittings for those forgotten items Across from site is Danes Dyke, a beautiful area for country walks with access to local clifftop and beach. Not to far from excellent sandy beaches at Bridlington and Filey. Hope to return next year

Excellent Friendly Secure Spotless

From Booking to leaving everything was excellent. When John and Kim are so helpful friendly and cheerful it rubs off on the guests. None of the club site grumpiness that can be found nearby. Water and hookup for each pitch. Grass well mown and everything spic and span. Gate locked. Great walks and wildlife nearby. No wonder they are fully booked. Get there if you can get a date free, we hope to return asap
