We found this site and booked for 3 nights in June 2021 as it was near to the British Motor Museum. What a delight it was to stay here. Tranquil, peaceful and views overlooking a meadow field with sheep. Water taps and waste area signed and kept well. As I’ve said, a delight of a site, and we would use again. The details given are accurate, it is gently sloping and no hook up - but if you are happy to be ‘off grid’ this is a gem of a site to use.
Peaceful CL with lovely view
We have been to this site twice now. Once in 2007 and in September this year.
It's a CL without hook up which we are quite happy with. It's got a lovely view over the farm and both times we have been there have been sheep in the field below the CL which is lovely to see. Although there is a road close by you only hear the odd passing car and it's not a nuisance at all. It has easy access from the road and is easy to find. No winding lanes to worry about to get here.
From the site, you can get to Stratford on Avon in about 10-15 minutes and there is a lot around the area to visit. It's not far from Warwick or Leamington Spa & it also has easy access to the M40. In the nearby village there are a variety of small shops and a Fish and Chip shop if needed (which we found to be really good).
There were 2 other caravans sharing the site with us but there was plenty of room for everyone to have a good view. There is a rally field which was used when we were there but this was the other side of the sheep field and did not give us any problems at all.
The owner, Amanda was really friendly and lovely to chat with (socially distancing of course!)
All in all, this is a great little site with great views & fantastic if you don't want hook up. We hope to go back another time without leaving it so long next time!!

Fantastic retreat
Gentle sloping grass only field with good views of the surrounding countryside sheltered by pine trees on two sides. Water and waste disposal point. Good access to field through a gated entrance. Lots to do and see nearby. Owners are smashing people, really friendly and can't do enough for you if you need anything. Sheep grazing in the adjacent field when we came.
Peaceful site
Spacious site, slope not excessive, minor road noise at times but didn't bother us at all. Friendly welcome. We had a glimpse of a couple of deer coming out of the wooded area on one occasion. We had a very enjoyable 3 days and visited Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle. Recommended.

Nice non electric site
Sloping site with good access, easy to find and accessible services that are well maintained. Field well mowed at the time of our visit. We were told when booking to go straight to field and this is what we did, didn't see owner until the night before we left when we paid. Very pleasant and friendly, ideal if you don't mind slopes and some road noise. Lovely view from site, will visit again when in area. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. The Goodwins
Hill Farm CL Review
If you are a user of non-hook up CL's, then this is one I can recommend. No issues with access
or finding it. Go through the gate on the left just before the farm down a short track & the field
opens up before you. Plenty of room for all, even if it was full. Taps & waste points along the left hand side as you enter field. Lovely views over the countryside. A little road noise from behind, but nothing to put you off. The owner, Mrs Baylis was nice & pleasant when I met her & was helpful with advice for walks. We visited Charlecote NT just down the road, did a short walk Sunday morning, but best of all, just chilling & relaxing in the sun for the first time this year.
Saw some deer fleetingly, a stoat, squirrels, buzzards .... but the best thing was watching all the new born lambs bouncing & running around. All for £6 a night ! Go & visit, these places need our support.

one of our favourite CL'S
We've been visiting this beautiful basic CL for at least 10 years. Fantastic views, often passed over by the occasional hot air balloon, very quiet, traffic on the adjacent road is only from people going to work and back.
Less than a mile from the Fosse Way so very handy for Banbury, Royal Leamington Spa, Oxford, Warwick, Stratford on Avon and the famous Wellesbourne Market.
The owners are very friendly and amenable.

A hidden gem of a site
We used this site as a base for a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon. It's really beautiful site, sheltered, and with wonderful views. Yes it is slightly sloping but the field is plenty large enough for you to have a good choice. We managed to site our 6m motorhome without using ramps in spite of there already being two other units onsite. The owner is really friendly and very helpful. We will definitelyreturn to this lovely little site, snuggled in the countryside
Nice clean site.
Clean site, grass nicely cut. Good views slightly sloping in parts. Friendly helpful owners, All the normal amenities were well kept and clean. A good location for visiting Gaydon motor museum and not to far from the NEC. We visited with a motorhome September 14 and will visit again.

BASIC BUT NICE
This may be a basic site, as in no electric, grass a bit long, has drinking tap and CDP, but what with a south facing site with views, birds singing in the trees, buzzards circling overhead and watching the lambs in the next field running and leaping about, what more would you want.
As you turn off the road onto the track you then need to turn left through a wide gate which takes you down a wooded track to the site. We have a T/A and there was enough room to manouvre through the gate.
