Amazing Cl

We were very lucky as we only booked this CL in February for an Easter break, I was surprised it wasn't fully booked. Had a call from Ann the night before we travelled, just to say she may not be around and told us just to open the gate and choose which available pitch we like and she would see us the following day. The site was very easy to find and access off the main road even with a twin axle caravan was easy. Pitches are all quite large and not far off level. We chose the pitch right next to the toilet block which was a good size. The toilets/showers were amazing, it was lovely and warm and very clean. Considering how close to the main road the site is there was next to no road noise, but there are trains that pass by the site a few times a day (they didn't bother us at all). There is a bus stop right outside the site which we used to go to Saundersfoot and Tenby to save the hassle of trying to find car parking, the busses run quite frequently and cost us around £8 return for two. There's lots to see and do in the area and nice to come back to a lovely peaceful site to relax in the evening. This site is kept immaculate and we can't wait to return. Thank you for this little gem.

WOW, WOW, WOW a truly fantastic site.

We can see why this site has won so many accolades and awards. From the warm and friendly welcome to assisting us with a medical emergency with our dog, Ann & Bruce could not have done anymore. We were only booked for a 11 night stay, but ended up staying an extra week. Even this was not a problem to our wonderful hosts. As to the site itself, it is conveniently located for the Pembrokeshire coastline, with plenty of places to visit. You can even walk to Saundersfoot from the site. The site is wonderfully landscaped with extra large pitches and a lovely shower block with plenty of hot water. If we could mark this site at greater than a 10, then we would!

Lovely site

We spend 5 days here and is definitely one of the best cl sites we have been on. Bruce and Ann were lovely hosts. The facilities were kept to a high standard. My dogs enjoyed running in the dog walk area. We will be back again soon. Thank you Ann and Bruce

October 2022 - Third Visit

Just stayed 4 nights at Hillcroft having stayed on 2 previous occasions. Hosts are friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Facilities are better than many official CAMC sites. Good size private pitches, two toilet/shower rooms + separate toilet, all impeccably clean and serviced. Proper chemical waste emptying facility, recycling bins and dishwashing area. Hot water taps which actually dispense hot water too! Must be in the running for CL of the year again. It goes without saying you need to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

We’ve just spent a week at this really lovely site Bruce & Anne were very welcoming and helpful, site very well kept, so lovely to see the ducks in they’re garden, nice clean facilities good walks from site might need levellers, plenty of space between each unit, the surrounding grounds are really well kept, really was a great site to stay at, will definitely be returning hopefully next year. Thank you Bruce and Anne for making us feel so welcome.

The Best CL Yet that I have ever Visited.

The owners are fantastic!! So helpful and friendly. The site is literally immaculate. They have a fantastic dog walking field. The pitches are second to none. The showers and toilets are immaculate and very high standards. Location is great being close to drive to several beaches or even the lovely down hill walk nature ramble down little lanes to the beach that the owners gave us a little map. We took a taxi back to the site at just under 10 quid it made for a totally and utter magic stop with these lovely people at a brilliant CL. I would 100 percent recommend and would love to stop here again if we are in this area again. Thanks again.

A lovely site

I am so glad I chose this site. The owners are very friendly and obviously very proud of their site. The site is fantastic, very clean, and a spacious layout. The grass is manicured to perfection, and the toilet and showers are probably the best i have ever seen on a CL. Waste management is also excellently laid out. The site has excellent access from the road, and was a breeze for me with our long twin axle van to get onto our pitch. It is perfectly situated to get to all of the local places, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Pendine Sands etc This is a site that I would come back to again Its been lovely thanks!

Most helpful when a novice!

This was my first real trip in my Campervan, alone with two crazy cockapoos! I couldn’t have chosen a better place with better hosts. Bruce and Ann had their work cut out with me to start with; started by parking on the grass instead of hard standing, had the wrong pegs for the awning so Bruce lent me some, had the wrong mallet, so Bruce lent me one, we had a job sorting out the EHU, Bruce and I figured that one out. Ann lent me maps and they are full of info of the area. A brilliant start to my camping, a beautiful place, a doggy meadow to run in and walking distance to Saundersfoot. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Everyone was lovely on the site, everything clean and beautifully tidy.

What a beautiful site

We stayed 3 nights in May 2022 . The site is absolutely beautiful in every way . Bruce and Anne were most welcoming. The pitches are so spacious and the gardens a delight. There is a huge very secure field to let the dogs run freely. Toilet and showers were very nice , clean and only being a small site never did I have to wait . TV reception was good as was Wifi. We could walk to Saundersfoot not far and a very pleasant walk . Bruce gave us a map that was easy to follow. Definitely we would recommend this site and I hope we will return at some time . Thank you both and well done your hard work really shows . One if not the best site I have stayed on . X Carole and James
