Lovely site and owners

A really spacious site, grass well maintained. We had a lovely week end here. The dogs enjoyed the footpath walks, traffic free! Pub just round the corner, and small shop, what's not to like! We only live 20miles away, on the coast, so being on the broads was a relaxing change.

A very peaceful site in a lovely location.

A spacious, quiet site in a lovely location on the Broads with some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Owners are most friendly and helpful. Many great walks from the site and the local roads around the site are small and quiet, ideal for cycling. A very good pub with food 3 minutes walk away. Good facility for emptying chemical toilets. There are many interesting places to visit on the Broads and boats can be hired nearby. Norwich is only about 25 minutes away by car and has much to offer. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Lovely stay

Very beautiful and peaceful location. Walks along the broads to Acle Bridge Inn ( recommend). Local walks around the fields were nice. The Lion was friendly with good food. Recommend this CL

Very muddy for motorhome

This site was marvelous in all ways: location, scenery, pub etc. it was clear they were over booked and we were the 6th to arrive. Luckily the caravans either side were friendly people and moved their cars. They originally parked so close that we felt in a car park. This was because our “pitch” was actually their parking area. Main problem was that we got stuck in the mud after a heavy rain shower. Another friendly caravanner managed to tow us out, thankfully. We are getting fed up of sites saying “suitable for motorhomes” when they clearly are not. We will stick to hard standing from now on. Beautiful site for caravans but should only have 5 pitches.

Very peaceful stay

Stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend 29/04-03/05 2016. The road down into Thurne is quite narrow but we managed with no issues. The site is plenty big enough, even full it wouldn't feel busy. It's well kept and although there is no facilities apart from water, waste & chemical in in one, it didn't detract from our stay. At 10.00 per night was fantastic. The pub is 2 minutes away with welcoming staff & accommodating landlord, serving good beer & food. Yes it's a little dated inside but I would gladly return to see if I could "find the owl"....Will you......great stay, would definitely return

Lovely, well kept, peaceful site!

Just back from a 3 night stay at Home Farm, our 1st experience of a 5cl. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, peaceful, well kept, grass/hedges well trimmed, 5 minute walk to pub, serving food & dogs allowed. Lots of walks along the Broads, 3 mile walk to Potter Heigham & easy access to coast. £10 a night. Thank you Mr & Mrs Shreeve, we will be back!!

Peaceful

Great CL in a lovely location.  Plenty of walks direct from site.  CL is on a farm but the activities didn't effect us at all.  EHU, water tap and disposal all at a tenner a night, perfick

A home from home on the broads

Absolutely a lovely quite site, really nice people. The site is very well looked after with grass cut short regular, the site is flat & level. A perfect location to have as a base to explore the local area. Very discreet disposal area. Only a very short walk to the local public house for food or beverages, the pub also has a small shop, there is also a small cafe/shop/gallery just across the road. The broad is immediately across the road also, a picturesque place to watch the boats & yacht go sail by. Stayed a fortnight & loved it.

Lovely site

What a lovely site & owners. Very quiet & peaceful, stayed for a week, would loved to have stayed longer, would definitely stay again if up from Kent. A few hundred yards to the broads, & pub, that welcomes dogs.
