great site

We have just returned from a lovely weekend stay. The site is well maintained and well situated for some fun days out. Its easy to get to as just off a main road, but on the site you don't hear any traffic noise.... only the birds etc. Although there was no toilet /shower block it didn't both us and recycling and chemical point were very clean and well land out. The kids loved the idea of staying on a farm and did loads of cow spotting in the field behind us. Finally, the owners were really friendly and made us feel welcome.

Excellent site

We stayed on and off this site most of the summer, sorting out new van and family problems.Ann and Chris are perfect hosts and this site is nice and level. We are a large motor home but access is easy and it's an idea place to stay to visit some of the best local attactions longleat, stonehenge, my favourite place is the Kennet and Avon ,canal and Caen hill will all the locks and a super tea room.

Little Gem !!

We've just got home from an extended stay at this CL. We were warmly welcomed by Chris & Ann when we arrived, this immaculately kept CL is part of their working farm. The CL is ideally situated for visiting a variety of places of interest in the area. These include :- the historic town of Devizes, Caen Hill Locks on the Kennet & Avon Canal, Laycock & its Abbey, Avebury Stone Circles & Manor House, and several White Horses carved into hills nearby. We are looking forward to our next visit, because it's one of those CL's that you feel you can return to again and again.

A lovely Site in great location

Stayed 3 nights mid-August whilst visiting family in the area. Very friendly and helpful owners, a warm welcome, easy access to pitches in good field setting. Lovely to see and hear the working life of the farm and very peaceful in the evenings. Great location for any visit and especially as a base for visits to all the nearby attractions and towns like Devises - full of history and things to do. Mixture of Motorhomes and Caravans on site during our visit and all available services more than adequate. If you want a great meal at very reasonable prices, look no further than the George & Dragon pub/restaurant just as you enter the Rowde village about a mile from the farm - delicious! Thanks to the Collett family for making us so welcome. Looking forward to our next visit in a few weeks.
