Great site

Stayed for 6 days in March, the site is really easy to find and very well sign posted. Owner very friendly. Great for travelling to Stratford and Warwick. The park and ride is a a short drive away, but better to turn right out the site and then park on the car park approx 1/2 mile on the left. Then take a walk by teh river in to the centre of Stratford. Well worth a visit.

Adequate

Two night stay in September. Ideally located for Stratford upon Avon. Beautiful scenery. Nice tidy field unfortunately let down by shabby waste disposal area. Doesn't look like it's had a good scrub in a long time. Ply wood lids were damp and rotting. Only one bin provided for five caravans which was overflowing when we left.

Weekend stay in August 2013

Excellent site, very quite. Plenty of room and you will need a levelling block on the 2 pitches at the far end of the site. As stated in a previous review there is a bus stop right outside the farm entrance, alternatively, you can walk into Stratford in 25 minutes with a pavement all the way. We will use the site again.

Ideally located for Stratford and on a bus route from the farm gate. Very peaceful site even though very close to main road. Site very well maintained

stratford marathon

This is the second vist to johns farm to be honest can't fault it so handy for national trust chalcote park and upton house the only down side was the park and ride it doesn't accept motorhomes we had to find an alternative carpark in town to watch the marathon. Just a minor problem.

Handily Located

Stayed October 25-28 2012. On arrival the owner was away and we were met by his mother who told us to park exactly where we wanted and leave the cars where we wanted. Water, electric and disposal points were all to hand. The site was extremely handy for Stratford Upon Avon,1 1/2 miles away). Drove 1 mile to car park as directed by Mrs Levi, parked up thecar, at the side of the river and enjoyed a nice 15 min stroll into Stratford. Tip there are about 5 properties to visit relating to Will. Shakespeare. £14.00 to enter each one or £22.00 for all of them. The sitemis also hand for Warwick.(3 miles away) The church is old and very interesting and you are allowed in the crypt. To park at Warwick castle it is £6.00 and once you are through the barrier you cannot get out without a ticket. We got there about 10.30am and you can park on the streets next to the castle for £3.00 for 2 hours. Entry to the castle was £22 pp and that only let you view some of it. It cost well over £30.00 for the whole Castle experience. You can get a cracking photo shot from a road bridge round the other side of the castle. A very enjoyable stay

weekend stay at Ingon bank farm

Thanks to the continuing wet weather the normal parking area was quite wet Mr Levi was kind enough to ring us to warn us and ask if we minded staying in the farm yard on hard standing. We did not mind and whilst definitely in the farm yard we had the most fantastic views across the fields. Mr Levi gave us a very warm welcome - pointed out the facilities and provided us with a bus timetable and where to catch the bus to various places in the area. He pointed out some great walks and could not have been friendlier. We had a lovely couple of days and would certainly visit again.
