Best CL I have stayed on

What a beautiful well maintained site, huge amount of space on both the CL and the rally field, which is opposite. It is so quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. Tom and Ros are lovely people and perfect hosts, informed us of the local pubs, dog walks etc. Whilst we was there we managed to watch the beast of all the farm equipment, the Combine Harvester. I would highly recommend this site and we will return here, I can not fault anything.

Lovely, peaceful site

Stayed 23/6/2023 for 3 nights. This was our fifth visit to this large, peaceful site. Buzzards and red kites around. Lovely pub, The Peacock, in Oxhill. Always a friendly welcome from Ros and Tom.

This site is 2nd to none

The pitches are enormous and very well kept, there is boundless space, lovely views and access to the site is very easy, even with a large unit this posed no problem. Thomas and Ros were wonderful hosts and took the time to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We could waffle on for ages but suffice to say we are sad to be leaving and cannot wait to return.

Lovely site, can’t wait to return

We had a lovely long weekend. Site was so very well maintained, so much space and water to the pitch. Easy walking distance to Oxhill and good food at the local pub, the Peacock. Many places on the doorstep to visit obviously Stratford on Avon but we had a very interesting day out at Kenilworth Palace and Gardens. Amazing hosts, would thoroughly recommend. Millie the pup didn’t want to come come!

best CL ever

This site is fantastic, Location cant be beaten, welcome is second to none. The pitches are massive, you dont feel crammed in at all. Our dog has been depressed since coming home, as for 2 days he had the whole field to himself, he absolutely loved it as we did. I wish all sites were the same. If I had to find fault, it would be that the electricity is 10amp, we knew this before we arrived, but if you have your hairdryer and the microwave on at the same time then the electric will trip, but honestly its not a problem. To complain would be nit picking as theres nothing wrong with the site. You will not be disappointed if you book.

Wow what a gem of a cl

The site is massive with at least 25 metres between vans, grass is immaculate and level . Ros the owner welcoming with information but not intrusive. We had our own water which always helps. The peace and quiet and wildlife are fantastic. Access is very good with local attractions and restaurants in abundance. What’s not to like for a site as good as this for £15 per night. We had to leave 3 nights early due to illness Ros contacted us to say she would refund the remaining nights. Great site, great owner, great location. Thanks Ros, Lynne and Ian.

Just brilliant

This site is just brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for Kirby Farm. We have stayed here many times as we have family members in a nearby village and visit often. The CL is vast with plenty of hook ups- this means that there is a great deal of choice about where you pitch and which way you want your van to face. Plenty of fresh water taps as well. There is a rally field as mentioned by a previous reviewer, however, the sites are adult only and the only rallies we have seen have been of people either the same age group as us, or older (we are in our sixties). We have stayed on the rally field too with kind permission of the owners. The CL was fully booked and we asked if we could stay on the rally field. Like the CL it is huge and it has a bonus, in the mornings we have seen hares speeding up and down the field and deer crossing the crop that grows down to the edge of the site. Around the CL and the rally field are swathes of wild flowers and carefully and thoughtfully managed farm land. All in all, this CL is a real gem- and the views of Edge Hill as you walk or drive back out towards the road are stunning. This is a working farm and we have really enjoyed watching the harvesting and filming the combine for our little grandson. We will be back - again and again! We love all of the Club's sites, but this year have found it hard being close to other vans. That's not a problem at Kirby Farm. Its a delight.

Excellent site!

This is a HUGE CL with well spaced pitches each with electronic hook up and water tap. Access is easy and wherever you pitch you will have a very pleasant outlook over the farmland. Adjacent fields have been planted with wild flowers and although mostly gone over when we visited I am sure must have looked lovely. Ros and Thomas are very friendly and eager to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. There are walks over the farmland and if you have a dog loads of space away from the site area to exercise them with no livestock to worry about. Our last visit was with friends in 2 other units and by prior arrangement we were pitched on the rally/overflow field on the other side of the drive separate to the main CL field. This is even larger than the CL field and even with 7 units on site at the time of our visit the space between each unit was vast. We wanted to be together so this suited us very well. The CL field is strictly 5 units only. We have stayed on both and would happily stay on either at any time. There are multiple hook ups and water taps on this field also. I would highly recommend this site there are numerous attractions to visit being close to Leamington Spa and Warwick and on the doorstep of the Cotswolds, lovely villages, tea shops, walks and NT properties to enjoy. Looking forward to our next visit in March.

Wonderful site with vrythin we need

We have just had a few weeks stay at Kirby Farm Caravan Site. It’s probably one of the best sites we have ever stayed it. There is plenty of room for 5 caravans with small strips of bushes breaking up the overall expanse of the site. There are plenty of EHU's and enough fresh water taps to allow one per pitch. The waste area (normal rubbish, recycling and chemical toilet waste point) is well shielded and kept very clean - there is even a hand gel dispenser on the outside to cleanse your hands when you have finished you task. There is even a dog waste bin near the waste point. It is a working farm so you must accept some noise as the staff go about their work, but it didn't affect our stay there. There are plenty of dog walks around the farm and dedicated (and mowed) walks from the site. There is a rally field opposite the CL so you may be joined by some other caravanners during your stay. The owners (Ros and Thomas) are very friendly and keep the site clean with the grass being mowed regularly - they even collect the grass cuttings so no mess in your caravan. To keep in touch, there is Wi-Fi across the site (included in your site fees) but signal strength will vary depending on your distance from the mast. Ros meets new arrivals and gives you an information sheet and advice about what to see in the area. This is a site we will definitely be returning to again, and again.

Lovely Site - But Be Aware

We stayed at this site for three nights last week. We received a warm welcome. The site is immaculately mowed and grass clippings collected where the vans are sited. Plenty of water taps and numerous EHU hookups, each with four hook-ups?? The waste disposal and recycling area fenced and hand sanitiser supplied. There were only two of us on site, so made it very pleasant. They do have a separate Rally field adjacent, again with numerous water taps and EHU hook-ups. The site owner told us they use the Rally field as an overflow to the CL. He also told us he was expecting six to eight vans this weekend. Between the two fields there is plenty of room, but if you’re expecting to stay in a five van CL, you may be disappointed on how many people they allow to stay. We enjoyed our stay, but we do like our peace and quiet, but a five van CL means five vans.
