Easter

Six of us stayed at Landmoth hall with our dogs over Easter, and had a brilliant time. Very accommodating owners and couldn’t have been more helpful. The surrounding countryside is second to none and perfect for the keen walkers, or for those that prefer not to walk the views from the site are incredible . Thank you for a lovely stay we’ll definitely be back. Sharon

1st time on site

When arriving on site 3 caravans on hardstanding but didn't see anyone all week. Drove on to site and pitches were sloping down to right but we had problem getting on to grass pitch with our twin axle caravan. The grass did get cut when we had dry day owner did apologise. Used our own facilities as shower didn't look clean and bin was full from when we arrived till we left 7 days later. Could be lovely site just needs a little bit of tlc. . Great for views but weather wasn't very good. .

Fabulous cl site in Yorkshire.

We arrived at Landmoth Hall on 15th May. What a lovely site beautiful views all around and very quiet. Perhaps I shouldn’t say this as I should keep this gem to ourselves. Toilet and shower block very clean and accessible just down the field. Ideal location for touring around Yorkshire Moors and I would definitely recommend this site.

Fantastic Site

Gem of a campsite. We have visited the site on numerous occasions and always received a very warm welcome by the owners. The site has great facilities they are very clean and well maintained. It is a working farm and the owners work extremely hard but still have time to stop for a chat. I would highly recommend anyone to try it out it is definitely worth it.

A little disappointed

Firstly I would say that our experience was not helped by the weather which made the overly long grass very muddy and the surrounding fields and roads very dirty, would imagine when the weather improves and dries everything out and the grass is cut we would be giving a higher scoring review. Arrival is anytime after noon, it is a working farm and were busy lambing when we arrived which maybe a reason why some things were not perfect. There are four very small hard standing pitches (accessed over grass though), a couple of fresh water taps, waste bin, Elsan & waste water points. The unisex toilet & shower were in the same room which could cause issues if the site were busy and the shower was being used. Make sure you take loo roll as there was none on our second day. It is in a lovely area and when it isn’t so muddy there are numerous walks. No nearby shops or pubs. We had a problem with our fridge which kept switching onto gas, as we know our fridge is fine we have to presume there may be an issue with the EHU as someone else there said they had also had a problem.

A gem of a site

We stayed at this lovely campsite for three nights. No one was around when we arrived so we pitched on No 1 with gorgeous views of the North York Moors. We caught up with the owner later in the day and she was extremely friendly and welcoming. There is a shower and toilet on the site which was absolutely fine. Chemical waste just outside the toilet at the bottom of the field and fresh water very near to the pitch. Plenty of dog walks around, and we particularly enjoyed Cod Beck Reservoir which is about four miles from the site. We also visited Northallerton on Wednesday which was market day and the whole town was very busy - good to see in these times. Will definitely return.

Lovely views over the hills.

Recently stayed on the site primarily because of its location and the toilet and shower facilities. Sadly for the duration of our stay the toilet facilities were not cleaned nor was the waste bin emptied, some tlc required in this area. There was seven pitches occupied so confused when the Club says that CL sites offer spaces for 5 members?

Beautiful spot, fabulous views

We have been staying on this site for 3 nights - moving on tomorrow - and the owner was very helpful and welcoming. The shower, toilet and washing up facilities are all in one room but are kept clean and tidy. We found it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay and easy to get out and explore the North Yorkshire moors and Swaledale. We would definitely return.

Amazing site πŸ˜€

Just returned from a two week stay on this site. Everything we wanted from a CL. Perfect location for visiting the Moors, the Dales and local attractions. The facilities are good and the site is peaceful and has amazing views. Owners friendly and welcoming πŸ˜€
