Great Stay
Our first visit to this CL for a fishing trip and a couple of days out. The fishing was great and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it's unfair reading previous reviews to say that the toilet near the tackle shop is part of the CL; predominantly it's for people fishing hence not on the CL itself. I'd say treat it as no toilet facilities and use your own.
The field is large and you can pitch however suits you best which doesn't mean anyone is too close either as there's lots of room. With a water tap to each pitch this is a real bonus.
My only criticism is the state of the toilet emptying facility which although separately housed away from the pitches (which is good) it is just an ordinary toilet and was a bit of a mess. It does the job but is very basic.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go again as both the closeness to and the fishing ponds themselves is excellent.
