Fantastic but...

Having stayed at this site twice before with the same outfit, we were looking forward to another stay on a first class CL. However, we have a sewn in groundsheet on our drive-away awning which cannot be lifted. Having explained this to Jane at the time of booking and pointing out that this had never been a problem before, she accepted our booking and took our £75 deposit. A week before our arrival we received a generic email containing useful information and again saying that groundsheets must be lifted every 3 days. We rang Jane to remind her of our conversation 6 months earlier and she passed us on to husband Gary. He insisted groundsheets must be lifted. We said that would make it impossible for us to stay at Llainfran. He said so be it. We asked for our deposit back and he said we couldn't have it! We lost our holiday and £75 for being honest. We contacted the C & M Club about this and they said they could do nothing as CLs were independent...

I will never tire of this site

This was our third trip to LLainfran and it really is a special place for us. This time we came with our daughter, her husband and Lucas our 22-month-old grandson What a great week we had despite the weather trying its hardest to ruin things for us. Jane and Gary are the perfect hosts and have created what is probably the best CL in Wales. My daughter was a little worried that it might be difficult finding things to do with Lucas on a campsite, however Llainfain is no ordinary site it has chickens, goats, alpacas, sheep, miniature ponies, donkeys and even bees. Needless to say, Lucas had an awesome time as did we. The only disappointing thing was that we couldn't stay longer.

Tranquil site

We have just returned from our 7th trip to Llainfran. It is a most beautiful site and is always presented to the highest standard. The location is stunning and there are many walks directly from the site. We particularly enjoyed going to the headland and watching the sunset set. Seals and dolphins are often spotted along the coastline. We were lucky to spot the SpaceX Starlink satellite one night. It was quite an amazing sight to see. It is a brilliant place for stargazing. We look forward to returning again next year for more peace and tranquility. Thank you Jane and Gary for a great holiday.

First class CL

We have recently stayed for 6 nights on this superb CL. The showers and toilet block were immaculate and the setting of this site was extremely idyllic. Jane and Gary were super hosts and were readily on hand if you should need them for anything. I would highly recommend this site if you are ever in this area and looking for a fantastic site.

Our second visit to this great CL.

This was our second visit to the CL, the first was in 2019 and it continues to be a great find, now with a modern toilet and shower block. Such a peaceful and tranquil site, well kept and great facilities. Pitches are well spaced and have a great view towards cardigan bay and the Llŷn peninsula, with Ynys Enlli visible on a clear day. Great base for exploring the surrounding areas, with a nice walk from then site to the coastal path and Cwmtyddu cove. Recommended for those looking for a quiet time to unwind and take in the beauty of the countryside. Jane was a very welcoming host and was on hand if you needed anything.

Superb Site

First time staying here and it was absolutely amazing. Can not fault one thing about it. (Maybe the weather 😂). Great communication from Jane & Gary. Site is immaculate, toilets/showers immaculate. We have stayed at a lot of sites and this is a clear winner. Very peaceful. The animals on site were a bonus. We look forward to returning.

Brilliant site, worth the membership fee alone.

Excellent site. very well kept, Loads of space between units. Toilets & showers very clean, tidy & roomy, only criticism is the push button one runs for too short a time making showering a little frustrating. A bit of a trek to the water tap depending on which pitch but that's just part of caravanning & is really a measure of how roomy this 5 unit site is. Great location & easy access to the coastal path. New Quay is a very pleasant small seaside town great for Dolphin spotting. Plenty of other places of interest in the area. If you want a wonderful peaceful break I can't recommend this site enough.

Amazing CL

Just returned from our 3rd break at Llainfran CL. Communications prior to arrival is excellent and Jane couldn't be more welcoming when you arrive. The site is lovely; peaceful and quiet but with easy access. Pitches are huge allowing plenty of room, with a lovely sea view. The site is sloping but levelling blocks are provided on each pitch so this wasn’t a problem. 10 units of electricity is included in the price, and you pay for any additional usage. The site has immaculate modern facilities including 2 wet rooms, toilets, outside washing up area and laundry room. There are 2 fenced areas where dogs are allowed off lead – which is amazing, and our dogs love it. Free fast wi-fi is included and TV reception is excellent. The coast path is ¾ mile walk from the site. It’s a beautiful walk on the coastal path to New Quay to do some dolphin spotting. We love this unspoilt beautiful area of Wales, where there is so much to do we run out of days. So many beaches within a short drive that you're spoilt for choice. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely site and have already booked again for our 4th visit. Adrian, Sarah, Woody & Wren

Stunning Location

Ian and I returned for our 6th stay at Llainfran. It is in a most beautiful location, the views are stunning and it is so peaceful and quiet. Jane and Gary are super hosts, the site is always presented well and the shower and toilet block are a real added bonus. Our dog Willow enjoys using the 2 dog exercising areas that are available to use. It is a brilliant area for walking and the coastal path is very close by. We particularly enjoyed walking to the headland where seals are often seen and if you are really lucky you can see the dolphins too. New Quay is a lovely bustling little harbour village and sells amazing fish and chips. We will be back for our 7th stay in the summer. Cant wait to return!!!
