Wonderful site with stunning views

We have just spent 2 nights on this marvellous find. Tucked away on the Lleyn Peninsula, the site has fantastic views over the countryside to Hell’s Mouth, a vast bay with sand. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly and although we had already been allocated a pitch on booking, we were offered a choice on arrival. The field is on a slight slope but very easy to level the unit taking advantage of the spectacular views. Basic toilet and shower block which appeared clean but we did not use. Easy access for water and toilet disposal but nowhere for a motorhome to drop grey waste if you don’t have a hose attached to your motorhome. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and very peaceful apart from a brief visit to Abersoch which was very busy. (Wouldn’t suggest taking a large motorhome or caravan into the centre of the town but there is a big car park on the right just before the descent into the town - £5.00 all day.). We spent a day cycling round the peninsula which was surprising traffic free for the most part and a lovely way to explore the countryside. Really enjoyed our stay and have marked this site as one to return to again and again.

Lovely small CL site

We have just left this lovely CL site. It is so peaceful and with beautiful scenery and views, it has got to be one of our favourite little sites. So close to nature been in a field between the cows and sheep. Couldn't have been better. The owners couldnt have been more friendly and welcoming.. We will certainly be back next year. D Palmer

Great find

Just back from this great CL. Set in rural Wales this really is a place to escape to and yet you are only an hour from places such as Porthmadog or Beddgelert. Close by are the small towns of Pwllheli, with a large Asda, and Abersoch for the beach. As dog owners, you are only a few minutes from Hells Mouth Bay with 4 miles of dog-friendly beach. A great pub with good food can be found close by in Llanengan. The site has a beatufully clean toilet and shower. The charge of 20p for the shower is extremely cheap but a pain to keep finding the change. Would prefer to pay an extra £1 each night to have the showers included. Unfortunately, the farmers had a Jack Rusell that kept coming onto the site and pooing, so watch out for some dog mess. The view across the bay, the best of any CL we have visited to date, is well worth the odd blustery night. It is Wales after all :)

Wonderful holiday

The site was so peaceful and stunning views.  The site is very exposed so can be windy as we found out but the views make up for it.  Very conveniently situated for touring the peninsula.  We stayed for 10 nights and most of the time there on our own Lovely site to return to in the evenings away from the crowds and to sit and watch the sunsets.  Will definitely return.

Fabulous site

We stayed here with the family in the adjacent farmhouse. Everything about this site is perfect. Wonder full quiet spot, views to die for, clean well run facilities including loo and shower. The rented farmhouse adjacent is also lovely, clean and well run and Nia is a perfect hostess. We could bring the grandchildren and have our own space. Had the site all to ourselves in August and this seems a shame... More people should be aware how nice it is!

stunning views and peaceful

We stayed on this site for 2 weeks this summer, the location is perfect for visiting the local villages and beaches, only about 5 mins drive from several beautiful beaches and shops. Lots of great walks. The views are stunning, looking over to Hells Mouth Bay and some beautiful sunsets. The facilities were great, toilet and power shower, very clean. I understand that they are having new showers and toilets fitted in 2014. The owners are very friendly and helpful, their were fresh eggs and veg to buy. Lots of space between pitches and a large field for kids and dogs to play. The owners give each pitch boxes to put recycling in and they are emptied on a regular basis. The site is on a working farm but we were unaware of any noise. The site was very clean and the pitches were mowed when empty. The farm have a washing machine that can be used. I would recommend this site to anyone, lots of space and quite.
