Delightfully peaceful

Site is extremely quiet and ideally situated for walking the coastal path as buses cover the north and south of the lane the site is on. The coastal bus passes Hasguard Cross and the Dale-Milford Haven bus (I forget the service no.) passes the south end of the lane. We would have no hesitation booking this site again if/when we are in the area again.

A peaceful location ideally situated

We stayed here in April 2016 to continue walking the Wales Coast Path. This site is ideal for that, being near to both coasts. Although small, it has an old 'shed' with shower and toilet in the field, which is kept very clean. You have to pop down to the farm to book in, which is short drive away. Mr and Mrs Rees are very welcoming and friendly, although not on site. We were, in the main, on our own for our visit so had plenty of space on the hard standing. I'm not sure how much space you would have if there were 5 or more caravans there.

Perfect for all of Pembrokeshire

Visited Jan 2015 during flurries of snow and very cold winds. Was welcomed on arrival. Has small shower/toilet cabin with good electric shower and provided toilet paper for wc. The bonus was that a lamp heater was left on at all times which made using the shower in sub zero conditions more pleasant. There was a newly made large hardstanding area (which we were grateful to be the first to use given the time of the year). The site overlooked a field with no less than fourteen Shetland ponies in, which delighted my partner who is a horse lover. Within 15 minutes drive is a biggish Tesco at Milford Haven, and the site is very quiet despite being next to a single car width country lane (rarely used). The low price (for inc shower, electric and wc) may well reflect this not being very close to the main Pembrokeshire attractions, although I would argue that its position offers the best central location for visiting them all... We were mainly just doing walks, and these ranged geographically over every area of the county, There is no nearby pub on foot, which was fine by us... You are also unlikely to get this kind of peace and tranquility at a cl close to Tenby (for example)...  I would recommend it unreservedly and thank Mr and Mrs Rees for a lovely two week stay... I wish them all of the luck for the future.

Dogs

This is a lovely CL and we have used it numerous times approximately 15 to 20 times, at one time you could watch the badgers running up across the field in front of the CL. MR & Mrs Rees are lovely people and we enjoyed staying there. The biggest reason that we have not stayed there for about3 years is that they wanted a £1.00 extra for our little Yorkie. So the total for a weeks stay was £91.00. We stayed at Lleithyr Meadow in St Davids for the last couple of years for just £116.20 for 7 nights with all the top facilities. And no charge for the dog. Maybe one day we will return to Mr & Mrs Rees but not if they charge for little dogs that only cost them drinking water. Please remember it is a lovely CL and Mr & Mrs Rees are lovely people.

Delightfull

We stayed on this site in May and had a brilliant time. Owners very friendly, even let my husband cut the grass using a ride on lawnmower (weirdly one of my husbands ambitions!!!) Pretty tubs of flowers and lovely views including a field of ponies, that were fascinating to watch charging about of an evening. Toilet and shower very clean and toilet disposal well sited especially when compared to some others nearby that we stayed on. If in the area again we would definitely return

Lovely quiet site

Directions to the site as in the guide are good and the site is clearly marked. As stated in the guide, the narrow lane and access gate could be difficult for longer outfits and the site slopes a little, but we were fine in our small camper van.  Owners were lovely, welcoming and chatty.  Only two outfits on site for the entire week - May 26-30, school half term.  One shower and one toilet, cleaned daily and included in the price.  Very good value and located exactly where we wanted it.  Coastal bus service about 20 mins walk away. Will return if we need a site in this area again.

not that great.

You will struggle to get a larger outfit through the gate. If you find a space to put your outfit you may find 6or even7 vans squashed on in peak times. Toilet and shower is adequate and found use of my own facilities better.surroundings are nice but people came on and left because tv signal was poor.needless to say we moved and found better down the road.the owner came across rude and was not friendly or welcoming.
