Tranquility on our doorstep
A short drive from our home in Shropshire and it’s like another world. The pitches are really big and each pitch is almost self contained with high dividing hedges. The hedges give shelter and become sun traps, but there is a small grass area in shade at end of each pitch.
Traffic can be heard on the nearby A519 but it is quiet in the evening. The noise is not intrusive and the birds can still be heard as you relax by the van. Each pitch has an uninterrupted view of the fishing lakes.
If a rest from cooking is needed, the Tickled Trout cafe, on site, is to be recommended. All the food is cooked to order… and is both delicious and plentiful.
Facilities are spotless. In all, a gem of a site. We will be back.
