We are just back for a wonderful relaxing stay at this CL. Absolutely perfect! A very quiet and peaceful location. We loved seeing the Alpacas and enjoying the beautiful countryside. I hope we can go beck very soon!
Overall a good stay
Nice well presented CL site. The photo's are a little outdated and don't reflect the actual site. Space is fantastic, there's loads of it. Pitches are fairly level and the overall peace and quiet from road traffic is minimal.
Toilet facilities, need some attention. They weren't the cleanest, and as far as I could tell where not cleaned throughout our stay. I have read reviews from others and my experience does not agree with some of the comments.
Local walks are good and access to the coast is easy.
The alpacas do make some noise, don't smell the best and haven't yet learnt to pick up there own poo.
Despite our experience with the showers and toilet we did enjoy staying on this site, and at a pound a go, it would be nice to have enjoyed the experience.
Enchanting
This has to be one of the best CL's we have ever stayed on. The site is huge, superbly organised with lots of facilities. Pamela and Phillippa were great hosts with a warm friendly greeting. It was very much a last minute booking but it couldn't have worked out better. Enchanting when the sun goes down and darkness falls. We will definitely return.
Amazing site ❤️
This was a an amazing site we will definitely be returning to with our grandchildren. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly they chatted to my husband who can talk for England listening to his friendly banter most of the evening. ‘I hope you knew he wasn’t serious about the cats lol’ the facilities were great for such a small site and very clean. The whole site was a magical place with lamas, alpacas and turned into a beautiful fairy glen when dusk fell overall an amazing night ❤️

A warm welcome and well kept site
We only decided to come down the day before when I phoned Pam was very helpful and said she could accommodate us at such short notice. we arrived at the site and were pleasantly supprised how well kept the site was the welcome was good and Pam could not have been more helpful. My wife fell in love with the alpaca's and the fresh eggs were very good. We will be going back soon
Just book it - it’s one of the friendliest Sites we have stayed in
We chose the site for its location which is ideally placed for visiting the area, the site is beautifully laid out and peaceful that we just chilled and enjoyed the wildlife. Pam, Philippa and her partner are so helpful. Lulu the dog and the ducks provided amusement as they chased a ball. Overall it is definitely on our return list, if it was nearer we would have been back already and it’s only two weeks since we returned home.

Peaceful and lovely CL
We stayed here on our way to and back from Cornwall. It is a beautiful and well kept CL. Our children loved watching all the animals in the adjacent fields. It has a swinging seat with a delightful view. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A perfect little site. It does have a toilet which is clean. I would recommend this site. We really enjoyed our stay.
Happy
Really enjoy are stay ,clean and friendly. The owner and daughter were friendly and helpful. Can't comment on showers or toilets because we always use are own. There are some storage vans in the next field easy too pitch van so not looking at them.
Lots of places to walk the dog, beach and RSPB not to far away, friendly village people. The dog enjoyed it has well watching the alpacas
We would go again .

Disappointed.
We stayed here one night in August. We met the owner Pam, who was very pleasant and friendly, but we had entered the site from the wrong gateway, apparently. From the direction we approached, there was nothing to show this was not the right entrance.
We had read all the reviews - which almost all gave 5 stars - before booking, but frankly we were disappointed. The photos show a very pretty, tidy site but our pitch was in an 'overflow' field, where there were quite a lot of old disused caravans, portaloos, septic tanks, horse boxes etc which looked as if they'd been there a while and could be left there a while yet. We soon discovered that we had to be careful where we walked because there was llama and alpaca poo all over the place.
We don't want to cause upset because Pam told us she'd not been at all well, so obviously she's not been able to keep everything spick and span, but she also told us her daughter - whom we didn't meet - usually deals with the bookings and runs the site.
To be honest, although the main field (where there were five outfits when we arrived) is quite attractive, the part of the site where we had to pitch is a bit scruffy and unkempt. Although it's not a huge issue, we paid the same fee here as we have paid on sites elsewhere this year, which were immaculately kept and had all mod cons which we were happy to use.
The toilets and showers at Manor Farm are 'ok', but - (especially given the efforts being made elsewhere, with the pandemic not over yet) were not especially clean. A shower costs an additional £1 and we used the shower in the 'event trailer', where there wasn't enough hot water to do two showers in quick succession. Good job the weather wasn't cold as well.
It was probably unfortunate that although we'd booked in advance, our pitch wasn't in the main field; we would have got a better impression on the whole if we hadn't looked out on derelict vans etc; but sadly, we wouldn't be able to recommend this site.
Peace and tranquillity- a Real gem of a find!👍
What a lovely, peaceful and unique CL. We were warmly welcomed by Philippa on Pam’s behalf who was just lovely. She could not have done enough for us, and was more than happy to let us feed the Alpaca’s and spend time chatting to us. Fab place and would not hesitate to return. Many thanks from Sue and Chris - wonderful hostess Philippa! Xxx
