Run by a Lovely Couple, Who Care.

Stopped for 3 nights with Roy and Mary. This is a working arable farm with a photo that only shows 1/2 of the lawned area. Every pitch has a view across the rolling fields of Cambridgeshire. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Roy keeps the grass short and there isn't a clipping in sight. There is a large hard-standing area but most of that is adjacent to the farm's main storage barn. The washing machine is an added bonus and included in the pitch price. Close to the A14, but if you are looking to visit the city of Cambridge from here, there is a guided bus that runs from the park and ride at St.Ives (a short drive away) into the centre of Cambridge. Being and adults only site makes this haven very relaxing. Roy asked me if I needed the wifi, but I didn't so I cannot comment on its quality, or cost (I doubt he charges). We will definitely return and have a longer stay next time.

Return Visit

This is a little Gem of a site. The main picture does not do it justice. It is quiet, peaceful and idyllic. This was our 2nd visit and it was just as pleasant as the first. Mr & Mrs Collett are both friendly and helpful. The site is easy to get to and the directions are spot on. The site is kept with short grass and the pitches are spaced out and not in a row or on top of one another. There is also free Wi-Fi. We will definitely return. Thanks for having us.

Outstanding

We were fortunate to stay on this fantastic CL for 6 nights earlier this month and we would have stayed longer if a pitch had been available. The size of the site, the fantastic condition it is maintained to, the lovely views and the peace and tranquility the site offers was beyond everything we hoped for when we booked. The site is nearly always full (although it never feels it because it is so large and spacious) because it is so good and people return year after year - I can understand why, it is a true oasis of tranqulity - and all for a mere £12 per night, unbelievable. The lovely site owners, Mr & Mrs Collett, were a delight to chat to and very helpful in providing information, including maps, on the local area. Can honestly say this was by far one of the best CLs we have ever stayed on (and I am known by my family to be very hard to please!). We will definitely return and can highly recommend this brilliant CL.

Great 2 night stay

Just returned from a lovely 2 night weekend stay. The site is well signed from the road and is very spacious with plenty of electric hook ups. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lots of walks in the area and can access a public footpath directly from the site. The road outside is quite busy but this didn't really affect our enjoyment of the site.Very convenient location for visiting attractions and other nearby towns. Didnt see the owners at all but we weren't bothered by this, dropped the money and a little note in their post box on our way out. Would definitely return.

Ideal halfway stop between Yorkshire and the south east coast.

Had an overnight stay on this splendid site in early September 2018. Spacious and glorious countryside, very convenient for A1(M)/A14. We have rarely felt as welcome when the very friendly and helpful owner greeted us on arrival. Highly recommended and very good value.

GOOD VALUE C/L.... But.

First visit to this c/l. Plenty of room although there is a wifi dead spot on probably the best location to pitch. Think the big barn blocks the signal. Also states adult only but on our visit they seemed to allow visitors with young children. If i wanted to sit outside watching a child kick a football i would have chosen a site with a play area. Also the 5 van rule was broken with 6 vans on site. I should mention that the owners were away on holiday at the time and a neighbour was looking after it, but the impression i got was that 'regulars' were given these perks.A little dissapointed as why have a 5 van rule and state adult only. Apart from this it is a good value c/l with some road noise at times but not overbearing. We found it ok for a short weekend break, but probably wouldnt return.

Excellent 5-night stay

We stayed on this CL last month, and it was everything that we had hoped for. We particularly liked the spaciousness, and the lovely open views. We had free choice where to pitch, so that we were not overlooked. (We did need a long EHU cable.) Mr Collett is very helpful about places of local interest, and there is plenty to see in this area. We appreciated the fact that it is Adults-Only, and the popularity of this CL shows that we are not the only ones to feel this way.

May Road Trip

Last leg of the May Road Trip now - stayed for two nights on our way home. Another delightful CL - five vans in almost 1.5 acres so very spacious and you pitch where you want depending on the length of your electric cable. Directions easy to follow and very good access. Owner came to welcome us and check everything was OK. Facilities very clean and tidy. Very level and grassed area. Good dog walking directly from the site. Large Tesco's just down the road so handy for groceries and fuel. We were only here on our way home so we only visited St Ives - but sure from here there are lots of places you could visit. There is also a choice of hard standing available if the weather was less than perfect. We would not hesitate to visit this lovely CL again - and the bonus is we could reach this for a weekend stay.

Great stay at Manor Farm

This is our fourth stay at Manor Farm. The site is very accessible and spacious with ehu spaced around the large well maintained grassy area. Large areas of hardstanding too. Clearly marked dog walk on site, leading onto well marked footpaths in the immediate area.we use a lot of CLs and this is definitely at the top. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Wildlife spotting a definite bonus. Good location for towns and attractions in the area.
