Lovely scenery

Just came back from a week stay on this cl and I have to say the scenery is magnificent, the tidal estuary is only across the road and a toll road follows this for miles. The toll even covers push bikes at 20p. Lots of sky larks there when we were and they came quite close to the caravan. The field is very large and a strip was mowed along one side for the pitches. The grass could have been shorter especially as we had some rain. The site is advertised at 5 acres and that is one reason we booked it. The space available for outfits (unless you wanted to park in knee high grass) was much smaller but still with enough space. Whilst we were there we had an almost constant cold wind (there are windmills close by so it must be regularly windy). The biggest drawback was the chemical disposal. This consisted of a plastic or metal chute into an open ditch which had a sheet of metal over it. (Glad it wasn't hot weather). The disposal point is about three feet off the ground, many elderly of infirm prople would have difficulty in lifting the toilet container this high to empty it. Overall a nice location, lots of cycle rides in fact the whole area seems very cycle friendly. Wouldn't go back because of the toilet disposal.
