One of the very best

Have just spent 3 nights at this lovely site. Having been to well over 100 CL's over the years, I rate Mere Oaks as one of the very best. Electricity & Water to each pitch, with grey water into the hedge, makes it effectively fully serviced. Each designated pitch is surrounded by mature trees & shrubs making it very private. Didn't meet Dinah, but Dave is very friendly, & obviously takes great pride in maintaining an immaculate CL. Very easy access & close to the beautiful city of Lincoln.

Beautifully kept. Quiet location, dog/family friendly

Site is well off the beaten track but very well signed, we went for a quiet weekend and were delighted with this little gem. Easy access for bigger outfits. large and level grass (lawn!) pitches. This one is a genuine 5 pitch site and strictly members only, just as a proper CL should be. Owner was welcoming and helpful (good advice on local dog walking routes) but also left us to enjoy our holiday, just as we like! VERY well kept, not a blade of grass out of place and there is a lovely screen of mature trees/hedges bordering the large CL area. It's a short drive into Lincoln, Bardney also has a decent butcher, Co-Op and so on, even closer. Great value, family/dog friendly. Will certainly be going back again, quite faultless.

Great site

We have just spent 4 nights at this fantastic CL site. The site is massive with perfectly groomed hedges and the grass is like a lawn and very level. Easy access to the site via the gates from the road. The welcome from this owner was excellent. The site is placed in an excellent location for Lincoln and the surrounding area which is very pleasant countryside. Highly recommended.

Mere Oaks CL

Just got back from a long weekends stay on this CL. I would highly recommend Mere Oaks to anyone visiting the Lincoln area. The site is spacious, well laid out and very tidy. Each pitch is nicely screened from adjoining pitches with mature shrubs/trees.There are also some lovely walks from the site which are all well sign posted. Access to the site is easy and clearly marked. We shall definitely be visiting again.

We will be back

Easy booking via email, access to site easy even with a twin axle, lots of information provided, all very Covid safe, grass like a bowling green each pitch separated by conifers, slight road noise however saying that we had a Sunday morning lay in until 10:30 which for us is unheard of. Easy access to Lincoln and the coast. Only an hour from home for us and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Brilliant site - Lincolnshire at it's best

What a find - on our first caravan experience, (total novices) we found a gem - spotlessly clean - field had easy access and was well tendered, each pitch secluded by well planted screening, felt very private and spacious. The only slight downside was the traffic noise at rush hour but with this quality environment, overcoming the sound was well worth it. Will certainly be coming back the sooner the better for us. Great first experience - thanks to Dinah & Dave.

Lovely CL highly recommended

We stayed with Dinah and Dave for a few weeks and enjoyed it very much. The site is extremely well kept and very attractive. Each pitch is screened from the others by thoughtful planting and the water/disposal point is tidy and easy to access. We stayed with our 2 dogs who loved the site too and the great walks you can enjoy direct from the site. The site is easy to enter and exit and the local walks are numerous and very pleasant. The walks are direct from site and can take you as far or as near as you choose, many options along the tracks and bridleways. You can walk all the way from the site to the local pub in Potterhanworth through the local woods and country side. Lincoln is a 15 minute drive. Thank you both for a very nice stay and good luck for the rest of the year.

Lovely Lincolnshire

We (two adults and our dog) stayed here in July. Access to the site is easy, a nice wide gateway, The pitches are huge and perfectly flat with shrubs and trees between each to afford privacy but with an open aspect in front of you. The grass is kept tidily mown. The bin area is spotless and very regularly emptied they even provide a doggy poo bin - how thoughtful! There is a little well stocked information hut. Lincoln is within easy reach as are the Wolds and several RAF museums. There is a little noise from the road, which although it's a B road is very busy, but it does quieten at night.

Lovely little site

What a lovely little site, we stayed for a week end of may, beautifully keep, lots of space and very private pitches. information hut with lots of information on places to visit. The owners were on holiday so didnt see anyone in the whole week which was not a problem as you didnt need to bother them. The only downfall was there were no pubs or local shops to walk to, you need a car to drive everywhere, which when you check the website it states a pub within a mile so this was dissapointing especially for going out on evenings. There is a road outside the site which does get busy at rush hour but this didnt bother us as we have the same at home. we would return for a weekend if it was closer to home but found a week too long due to its location
