Very secure and well kept

I arrived after the garden centre had closed (by prior arrangement) and was met at the gate. As well as an electric security gate at the entrance (card operated) there is a padlocked gate to the CL area so even when the garden centre is open it feels secure. Manicured gardens. Grey water and fresh water for each hard standing pitch. Electric on a meter with £1 included to get you started. Access to footpaths next to the site. Good clean facilities for waste. Cafe has good coffee and sausage baguettes for breakfast and the cakes looked lovely! There is some aircraft noise as close to Luton and Stanstef.

Caravan Heaven.

Well it's our first time at this site and we will certainly be coming back, owner and ladies in the café are ever so friendly, the cakes are to die for all freshly made. All pitches are super pitches with plenty of space. Site is on a meter cost us about £2.50 a day without heating on. Well worth the money here. Superbly maintained. Book yourselves a treat but save room for me.

Close to home

Stayed here for a short 3 day break just an 90 minutes from home and everything was perfect, the weather (been difficult this year) .Good welcome and introduction to everything from Mark and he gave us our £3 starter coins for electric meter,we used around £2 a night and we felt that it was very fair system for everyone.Lovely walk just left out of the site and 400m on right over small bridge towards church and beyond. The ladies in the tea room were great fun! and the cakes, scones and pasties were really good. Would have no problem returning.

Best CL site we have stayed on

This is a lovely quiet site, which was immaculate. The pitches are large and well spaced out. We had a warm welcome from Mark and he pointed out dog walks which were just by the entrance to the site. An added bonus was a cafe on site which I can highly recommend their scone, clotted cream and jam.

Bank Holiday delight

First time at this site and pleasantly surprised, sat nav was spot on with directions good run up. The CL is behind a padlocked gate with spacious pitches with own Water, Waste and EHU, Electric is 10amp but had no problem's. We were warmly greeted by Mark who explained where everything was and told us to see Jane over the tea room for payment and key fob for main nursery gate's which close at 4.00pm Nursery has a lovely tea room which we visited twice during the weekend, gets quite busy with cyclist's. Plenty of seating inside and out, with a delicious range of cakes and hot snacks. Helen is very helpful with any questions on the plant's as she grows everything on site, good selection of flower's, bedding plant's and pot's. Pub down the road within a few minutes walk but at the time not doing food, there is another one called The Bull 5 minutes by car that was highly recommended. Will definitely be coming back to visit again soon

Lovely tranquil site

Stayed for 3 nights at end of October. Large pitches with electric and Wifi. Our dog enjoyed the walks from the site. For a friendly atmosphere the Moon and Stars was terrific. Not many people in and has limited opening hours, but we were made to feel at home both by the staff and other customers (local people). Even managed a few games of darts. The tea rooms on site were nice and airy with welcoming staff. All in all a fantastic few days and we hope to come back again.

august break

just had a two week stay on this well laid out C.L. Mark and his Mum Helen were very helpful and friendly, the layout was very good with extra large pitches with your own water and e.h.u. although the electric was only 10amp never affected us in any way, the site is very easy to find and you have your own electric fob for the electric gates, if we ever went to Hartfordshire again we would like to stay on this C.L.

Lovely site

This was a lovely site and was in the middle on nowhere which i like. the site was a very spacious site for a CL and was laid out very well. The only thing was the WiFi didn't work for us at all-but if you are not bothered by that i highly recommend this site, the owner greeted us on arrival and explained what is what!

A Gem of a site

We booked on here for 4 nights . Owners were helpful and friendly. The site was well kept with very good size spacious pitches, in a garden style setting. Electric hookup, and water to each pitch. 10amp be aware, no problem to us. Chemical emptying and bin area in a cabin, very clean and COVID secure. On the site of a garden centre and growers with tea rooms, serving freshly baked cakes & savouries. Lovely country walks in surrounding area, pub just 10 minutes walk away. Secured by electronic gates.
