This really is a lovely little campsite!

This really is a lovely little campsite! This largely flat well manicured field is ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet in wonderful surroundings. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful and keep the facilities spotlessly clean. Thoroughly recommended

Excellent location

Very tidy field all neatly mowed. Quiet & peaceful and plenty of space for all. Not far from several castles and mills. Coast only just over 8 miles away. Even though the weather was wet overnight we had sunshine every morning on the beaches nearby, Manorbier, Freshwater East, Broad Haven at Bosherton (beautiful beach), Barafundle Bay, Tenby to name just a few. Fresh Eggs also available! If you want to get away from the crowds ideal but beaches and shops all a reasonable distance.

Lovely South Pembs site.

As almost locals from St Davids, we had passed this site and thought we should try it out for our “south of the county mini break “ . We were 2 adults and 2 dogs in a caravan . We booked for Monday to Friday but enjoyed it so much , we stayed an extra 2 nights ! Elizabeth the owner, was very helpful and accommodating as we had to pick up our other car from a garage and it was no problem to leave it on site for a couple of the days . So easy to access lovely walks , we went to Manorbier for a coastal path walk, Canaston woods, Laugharne , Angle , to name a few. Fresh eggs were delicious. We will definitely be making a return visit.

lovely quiet sit, although full we had plenty of space and room to pitch. Owners very friendly and relaxed, toilets clean and lots of leaflets regarding places to go in the area. Definitely recommend this site for exploring the area. Would return again if in passing this way.

Love this site!

Really enjoyed our stay here, the owners are very welcoming and helpful and has easy access and plenty of space to manoeuvre to pitch up.Its well placed to visit the surrounding area's but on site has a feeling of been miles from any crowds. All the service areas good, it's a really private site and we will hopefully revisit one day.

A peaceful week in Pembrokeshire

Just spent an excellent peaceful week on site. Elizabeth was most friendly and helpful. If you stay buy some fresh eggs they were great. We walked through the lanes to Lawrenny and Lawrenny Quay a lovely venue with cafe and pub on the waterside. We were lucky with some late summer hot sun and enjoyed just relaxing in the field reading and liquid refreshments. The site is central to both Pembroke Dock and Haverforwest therefore offering options of south and north Pembrokeshire. We will definitely return.

Thanks Liz!

What a lovely, friendly site. We did tell Liz we might not do this review,,as I'm not sure we want to share this secret. Couldn't fault anything. The site is kept lovely, toilets etc.very clean and Liz and family are very welcoming. The site is central for so much of south west Wales and we found plenty to occupy us for our 4 week stay. The beaches about this corner of Wales are stunning and St Davids, with a beautiful cathedral is a must.. We were so lucky there was a wedding at the time of our visit which was stunning. Good local food and drink at Lawrenny Quay and Cresselly Quay and local shop for provisions, although supermarkets are a bit further out. Regulars came and went while we were there, some having been visiting for 10 years. Doesn't that say it all. Thank again Liz and Bryn and love to Angharrod. xXx Pete and Sandra

Well kept site and excellent value

We spent one night on this quiet, well situated site last weekend and will return again. Mrs Edwards gave us a lovely welcome. The grass is mown, the pitches with electric are well spaced and the toilets clean.  There are plenty of good walks along well kept footpaths and the roads are quiet for cycling.  Quayside at Lawrenny is well worth a visit for lunch.

Nice place to stay

We have now visited this site approximately 4 times and we will be going again soon. It's kept in a very acceptable condition with a clean toilet which is more than you can say about some site's toilets! Mrs Edwards always makes us feel welcome without being intrusive. She also keeps a very good range of leaflets on places to go around Pembrokeshire for visitors to use.
