Relaxing start to holiday

Stayed at Northfield Farm on way to ou holiday.   Made very welcome on our arrival not only by owners but by alpacas and donkeys!    Lovely level site with plenty of local information available.   Well worth a visit.

Great welcome

A very convenient site for visiting lots of interesting historic houses & lovely villages. Francis & Tony are a very friendly & welcoming couple. Beware if you want peace & quiet as this CL is in line of site of the busy A14 and the sound carries. Also beware if pitching in the shade of the trees that they may drop a gooey sap on your caravan & car!

A GREAT SITE

We have recently returned home from this cl after having a wonderful time even after the strong winds and rain. The welcome we received was great. The view from the caravan was fantastic. All major towns are within easy reach and the walks around the site are good. If you are an animal lover there are the donkeys and al pacas. My wife plays in a brass band local to this site so we will be using again.

Definitely recommend

We only had one night here but after an unpleasant experience at another CL were blown away by the welcome and the set up of Northfield Farm. Easy to find, lovely well set up field, noticeboard, and able to relax and know that we were in good hands. The alpacas were a bonus. Thank you. We will be back!

A lovely and welcoming site.

We just spent 3 nights at this site and were charmed by it. The owners are welcoming and helpful and you are treated to introductions to the al pacas and donkeys at feeding and caring times every day. This is a place that animal lovers will enjoy. The site is surrounded by characterful towns and villages and close to wonderful walks or cycling around Pitsford reservoir which is beautiful. The only drawback we found was minimal in that the low background noise of the A14 can just be heard. It is low enough to not really impose, however. There are nice surroundings to the site but it is mostly self contained within trees and hedges. It is lovely, however and well cared for. The information board at the entrance and friendly welcome if Tony and Francis are not otherwise engaged make the arrival pleasant and informative. You will need levellers if not on one of the two hardstanding pitches but the slopes are not extreme. 16 amp ehu on the hardstanding but only 10 on the grass pitches. A good clean separate chemical disposal area. Overall we were very impressed and will use this site again when visiting the area. Our thanks to Tony and Francis for a laid back and enjoyable stay.

Fabulous

We have just spent a long weekend at this site, we were welcomed and shown the facilities, my husband was most impressed with the chemical waste point! We will definitely be visiting again so handy to home, all of 18 miles away yet we could have been hundreds of miles from home, we shall be recommending this site to our caravanning friends.

Lovely

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay.  Tony and Francis were very friendly and helpful and the site was tucked away on the farm in a lovely spot. Our dog Max was very welcome and he enjoyed the walks around the farm and in the local villages. We will be staying again.

Delightful

We just had a delightful couple of days at Northfield Farm CL, just outside of Kettering.  The farm and surrounding area offers some great walks for all ability’s. The CL area is big and is not overlooked by the owners house, its large size means it can offer numerous pitching options as well as two hard standings. The site is well maintained, clean and tidy. The A14 can just about be heard on site but it is very distant and not a problem for us. We met some Donkeys, some Alpacas and even bottle fed some Lambs courtesy of the  CL owners Francis and Tony who were very friendly and welcoming. At a tenner (May 2014) a night inc. electric hook up, its hard to go wrong. Recommended.

Superb destination

We have been to this C.L many times and are never disappointed, we will certainly visit again. The 2 new hardstandings without reducing the lawned area will prove usefull to motorhomes. The new flowerbeds will improve an already well maintained site in the summer months. Well done and thanks to Tony and Francis
