Very well kept site and facilities
The site is level, very well maintained, with all facilities close together and in good condition. The toilet building is just outside the CL itself but is excellent. The location is in a pleasant area west of York where there are few other CLs so suited us well, cycle rides are safe and enjoyable through lovely villages, while the park and ride at Poppleton is ideal for visiting York.
We did not actually meet Tim or Sam during the six days we were there but appreciated the very full information letter sent by email. The fee is on the high side but still includes electricity, and payment is required in full on booking.
