Fabulous Peaceful CL

Just returned from 3 nights at this lovely site. Great location for exploring North Yorkshire, Very peaceful, everything very clean and well maintained. Just what we love about CL's !

Stunning!

We have just arrived home after staying at this beautiful campsite and I have immediately emailed Sam for availability so we can go back. This was probably the most peaceful site we have stayed at and is perfectly placed for visiting York and further afield. Booking and arrival was made very easy and the site felt very safe. We can't wait to go back!

IDYLLIC CL

We loved this CL. We mainly use CL’s and this was just lovely. Pitched wherever we wanted. Overlooked a field of bullocks which were entertaining to watch! Everything a working farm CL should be. The use of a shower was a bonus. Lovely views across field to woodland.

Peaceful Site - Little Gem

Just returned from a long weekend here again. The site is brilliant in every way, big level pitches and cut grass! This site offers more than the large sites, again attention to detail. Quiet spot but easily accessible for visiting York and resorts on the coast. Thank you Tim and Sam - loved seeing the Twins!!

Lovely Site

Site set well back from the road so nice and quiet. Good directions with plenty of room through the farm to the field. Nice big pitches. Great facilities which were very clean. Good location for all local tourist destinations. Can’t fault the site. Will be back.

Peaceful cl

Lovely quiet cl with only cows for neighbours. Set away from the road on a flat well cut grass field. Helpful farmer Tim when we had a battery problem lent us his charger and lead for the rest of our stay. Very handy for York although the nearest park and ride is closed due to being a covid test centre but next one not far away round ringroad. Recommended.

Perfect!

Fantastic CL. Thanks to Tim, Sam and the dogs for making us feel so welcome. Spacious level pitches on a quite peaceful site. Great base for exploring York area. Clean toilet block which is always a bonus on a CL. Will return and recommend. 5* from me!

Outstanding CL - Highly recommended

This site is fantastic. The owners Tim and Sam are so helpful and accommodating. We arrived for thirteen nights in a deluge, CL entrance was muddy so we were positioned on another field. water and electric was laid on for us. The owners went above and beyond what you expect to make our stay enjoyable. A huge Thank You, the facilities are brilliant, typical of the attention to detail you get from visiting this site.

Little gem ideal for visiting York

Lovely flat and secluded site with superb toilets! Easy wide access and all the facilities are beautifully kept. Perfect location for visiting York and the nearby towns with park and ride nearby. Stayed here for a very wet and wild few days and Tim the owner went out of his way to make sure everyone was ok, including helping us when we had a problem with the electrics on our van. Thoroughly recommended and we'll definitely be returning (if we can get in)

Great location

Just back from a bank holiday stay, easy arrival and entrance to site, well signed. Very well groomed field, great facilities, good spacing between your neighbours, fabulous views of the farms south Devon cows, we were lucky enough to see the calf’s with the mothers. Well located for A1, York and Harrogate, can’t recommend enough, would definitely return.
