We have just returned after 10 brilliant days at this site. The location, the layout, the peace and quiet, the space and in particular, the welcome from Sam and his family, have combined to make this the best CL experience ever. We cannot praise too highly the quality and cleanliness of the location; the attention to detail and design. Even the cows are spotless! It's a newly opened site this year and we understand that plans are afoot to put in hard standings so that the season can be extended. That being the case, it will certainly be an advantage for those wishing to visit York's Christmas activities. Another boost would be internet connection for planning purposes for the exploration of the area, and although not essential, a small WC/bathroom block would complete the package. Now that we have found it, we'll certainly be back as soon as possible. It was very hard to pack up and leave this idyllic location and the homely, friendly owners. Many thanks Sam and family.
