Penrallt Bach Little Gem
Mair and Hugh deserve a 5* rating for this amazing site. Never have we had access on a site whereby the shower and toilet block is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean beyond belief. 20p metre 4 minutes duration perfect time.
The site has picturesque views.
Hugh and Mair are two amazing site owners that go above and beyond to ensure their guests are completely happy during their stay.
Excellent local knowledge and if you like a laugh Hugh is your man. 🤣🤣
The site is immaculate with spacious pitches.
Adults only make for it to be a peaceful stay.

Fabulous Site
This is a wonderful site and a credit to owners Mair & Hugh. They are very friendly and welcoming. It is a spacious CL with open views across fields. We loved watching the barn owl some evenings, the buzzard and occasional red kite during the day. Facilities are excellent with a high standard of shower and toilet facilities. All pitches have a water tap.
The site is well placed for visiting the whole peninsula and the beaches are beautiful. If you like steam trains then Porthmadog Station is a must. We were lucky as it was the 100 year Anniversary weekend celebrating the Welsh Highland Railway.
Although it didn't bother us the road adjacent to the site can occasionally be noisy during the day. There is no problem at night.
We stayed for 2 weeks and felt very at home.

Lovely site in a great location
We stayed here for 3 nights on our route home from a holiday in Pembrokeshire. On our arrival Hugh & Mair couldn’t be more welcoming, they are a lovely couple. As caravanners themselves, they know what makes a great CL and they certainly have achieved this! It’s a 2.5 easy walk into Criccieth by footpath along the main road and slightly longer more scenic route via the coast paths. It’s in a great location to visit the surrounding area, one of our favourites was Beddgelert, a gorgeous village with both easy or more challenging footpaths in the area. We will certainly be back soon!
Fantastic CL site
Beautiful site, good size hard standing pitches with electric and water. Views down to the sea across open fields.
Modern, spacious amenity’s lovely and clean.
Bus stop not far from site and coast path to Criccieth can be walked to from site.
Owners friendly and very helpful. We loved our 5 days here. We would highly recommend the site.

Scenic sea view
Writing this review whilst sited on pitch number 3 and looking out over the idyllic sea view… this site does not disappoint!
Fantastic and welcoming hosts on arrival to superb facilities/ toilet (shower block) including an enclosed dog walk, all pitches are hard standing and include individual water points.
Well done to the hosts and if you are travelling to Wales make sure to check it out 👍
Great site and great location
Its a great location and well maintained CL site. Close to Abersoch / black rock sands. Great fish and chips in town. Hugh and Mair are great hosts. This is our site we book when we come down to North Wales.

Superb CL
We stayed for 5 nights on this really lovely CL. The welcome was first class and the owners were really helpful in recommending places to visit. The site is very well maintained with spotless toilet and shower. Having water on the pitch was a real bonus. We loved the view from the pitch and we’re sad to leave.
What a fantastic find!
We stayed here in July for 4 nights as we were walking the coast path. Instructions to get to the site were excellent and we had a friendly welcome from Hugh and Mair. The pitches are spaced well apart and are hard standing. The toilet and shower is exclusive and is very clean, the shower costs 20p but you get ample time for this cost. There is a road that runs along the side of the site but we did not find it a problem. easy access to the village. We had a lovely walk to Portmadoc and Criccieth along the coast path. Buses are infrequent. We had views of the sea from our pitch. Hugh and Mair live on site and are caravanners themselves and this shows in the attention to detail provided on the site. We really enjoyed our stay.
